Tan Accelerators

I'm heading off on hols in a couple of weeks and I wanted to get hold of some Imedeen Tan Optimizer tablets. I'd used them previously, and while I didn't go ultra-brown, my fair skin didn't burn.

I can't find the product on sale anywhere and have been told by Imedeen that it's being reformulated and won't be available until May.

Does anyone know of any alternative I could try? It doesn't have to be tablets. I saw some Zhuzh Tan Accelerator on eBay, which looked interesting.

I'll be using high factor Alpha-H on my face, but it would be nice to get a bit of colour on the rest of me (for a change), rather than pinky redness.

Anyone tried Lancaster products or have any other suggestions?

I bought Astrailan Gold tan acc. Don't know if it helped with the tan as I'm fairly olive skinned but it did stop me getting prickly heat which is my personal big bugbear. They sell it in beauticians but I got mine from ebay as it was cheaper x.

I've got the decleor golden glow bottle, which you put on in the weeks ahead of your holidays, and the
gatineau one, but to be honest i've never used them, but they do get good reviews. You use them as
body lotion beforehand, and it helps with the tanning. It might help also. Hope you've a lovely holiday x

I love the Gatineau one personally ... definately tan up quicker with it and it cuts down on peeling and dryness after too much sun.

Oooh just realised, I've got the large Gatineau one too! Barb wot R we like eh?! We were as bad as each other for the beauty TSV's, I can't remember what I've got already lol! I'm so pleased I read this thread now, I can use mine this summer YAYYY!

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions so far. It's given me something to think about. Now to make my mind up.

I use Zhuzh and it seems to help me tan better and keep it longer. Also I don't peel and it keeps my skin very soft.

I've got ahead and ordered the Gatineau. The feedback on QVC and the bargain price on eBay swung it for me!
