I don't believe there is a single presenter who doesn't have either a supporter or a detractor. And surely that's why it's wise that QVC don't listen to our advice on who to allow on air? They know not everyone will like every presenter's style, and with the frequency with which they are on our screens they must understand that some of us will actively avoid shows presented by our most disliked presenters. If they tried to listen to, and meet, all the conflicting demands on presenting styles - they'd have nobody suitable to present shows... and if they did find this mythical perfect presenter, we'd probably end up complaining about how boring they are.
With any presenter, whatever their style - tell us the information we need to know about the product and how to order, and if there is an expert guest - let them give a detailed explanation and demonstration of the product... and if it requires models to show the product - show the model wearing the product. These would be the biggest improvements they could make with the existing roster of presenters.
