I am reading online at licences for new channels and QVC have got a licence for a TV channel called Sparkle Tv.

I wonder if this was supposed to be one of two new channels being launch by QVC back in September when QVC was supposed to be going HD.

I thought the same, might be dangerous in an already saturated market with gems tv, gems tv extra, jewellery maker, the jewellery channel, the jewellery channel gold and rocks and co.

Ideal world had a dedicated jewellery channel called jewellery vault and that failed, same with yes price crash where they had gemtique which also failed.

I guess time will tell...

I see the two new channels Sparkle TV and Twinkle TV have launched, 667 and 684 on Sky, although as far as I can see they are showing US TV shows, some music and infomercial type selling.

I think QVC have slowed down their jewellery compared to years ago (thank goodness!!!) but then on the other side of the coin,we seem plagued with beauty,for which they already have a dedicated channel.Must admit my first thought at seeing sparkles was jewellery.
