the next Slientnight TSV is on the 19/05/21
Until I get around to modifying my water bed frame with slats (to provide airflow) I am sleeping on a single mattress. It is a good Relyon one.I've had a memory foam topper [hot] (back when there was legendary thread about them on here); a feather topper [too soft]; my 22 y/o has a wool topper [nice but needs regular airing to stop it from getting too solid] and I'm on what's considered the best topper by mattress experts, a latex one [expensive but worth it]. I have done so much research on mattresses and toppers, though I don't claim to be an expert throught the years and the one thing that bothers me about this topper is 100% polyester.
It's all a case of what suits you in the end I firmly believe, when all's said and done, I prefer totally natural due to allergies, freshness and heat. As you've just gotten rid of your waterbed Stratto, this topper is a good starting point for you to see what you think but in truth - it depends what your replacement mattress is. My latex is on top of a highly pocket sprung firm bed and in all quite a firm experience but this topper from QVC professes to be a copy of down so should be quite soft.
For once, the QVC PP is reasonable at £2-95, but I doubt I can return it for that price.....Give it a go and then if it's no good return it, I would.

I still have my QVC memory foam topper, must be 15 years old but still in good condition. I feel the cold so it keeps me warm. The mattress has been changed. I tried to do away with the topper but I bought a mattress that was too firm so the topper went back on.I've had a memory foam topper [hot] (back when there was legendary thread about them on here); a feather topper [too soft]; my 22 y/o has a wool topper [nice but needs regular airing to stop it from getting too solid] and I'm on what's considered the best topper by mattress experts, a latex one [expensive but worth it]. I bought one years ago, it was rolled up and covered in plastic, but it was badly damaged so I refused to accept it. It may have been from Q or IW, I can't remember.I still have my QVC memory foam topper, must be 15 years old but still in good condition. I feel the cold so it keeps me warm.
