Might have looked but I had a catalogue voucher and I got a pair of Skechers for £25, size 6 and they fit!! The TSV looks OK though.

Can anyone give me a clue ......... Are these true to size or would I need to fanny about with half sizes. I don't really want them to have to send them back. I know all you knowledgeable folks will know. 🥰

All the skechers I've bought aren't from QVC and I've always bought a 6 and that has fitted. However, I think a lot of the skechers on QVC are "made for QVC" and that's where the problem starts with going up a size or down a size or why not even "try buying a completely different brand to get the right fit" type of antics. As shoes cost a bucket to send back I wouldn't risk buying them unless it is specifically stated they are true to size and if they aren't then Q will need to send a prepaid label to return them.

If It helps, I am a 7 in most makes, types and styles of footwear. The main exceptions are M&S (for some reason), where I am mostly a 6.5 and Skechers where I am also nearly always a 6.5. I have probably bought 10 pairs of Skechers and there is one pair where I probably should have had the 7 but it wasn’t bad enough to bother exchanging them and they’ve been fine really. I also went for the 7 in a pair of canvas trainers because I had the benefit of reviews saying they were a small fit and they were right. Unfortunately, there are no reviews for these yet on QVC (a few on Amazon but only one mentions sizing and they say their usual size was fine).

That has probably confused the hell out of you and only made your decision harder, sorry! In summary, if I were buying these, I’d go a half size down on my usual shoe size as my experience tells me they tend to be a fairly generous fit. I don’t often wear socks with trainers, which might make a bit of a difference, but when I do, they still seem to fit fine.

My feet are now officially too pernickety to risk a Q online order. I've ordered from Clarks in the past, and immediately returned any that didn't fit or fit but weren't comfortable. I won't waste my money or time with Q for footwear. Great if you have well-behaved feet. Mine even started burning with a Gabor try-on in my most recent quest for ankle boots. I ended up at tried and trusted Clarks.
