What have Sketchers and QVC got against people with size 7.5 feet? :mysmilie_10: Well, I don't care any way cos I think they look bluddy awful.

the half sizes have only been introduced on a few shoes lately so proberbly aint worked up to getting them in yet & seeing how these go before they buy more half sizes & bring them in ect

I hates are :
"I'm sat here" or you're sat at home watching".

Very unique.

Starting a sentence with "so". I noticed it first on written posts on forums but I see now that it has spread to the spoken word especially on TV.

Somethink (Jill F) and any other word ending in ing pronounced ink.

I'll stop for the moment!

Thanks but I had already worked that out for myself.

Slightly off topic but I am considering a pair of those fold up pumps and wondered if anyone had an opinion.

I find Stechers very comfortable but the memory foam burnt the feet off me. I assume that all of the range have memory foam?

I was in Italy earlier this month and it was mid 30's. I always suffer from swollen feet abroad in the heat and this was the worst ever year so bad that despite having about 6 pairs of sandals/shoes towards the end only a pair of plastic flip flops would fit.

Shoes are my biggest problem both at home and away. I would love to have my shoes made to fit.

I try not to let my blood pressure rise at every single new mangling of the English language. I've no objection to the language evolving (stopping evolving is the same as killing off - just look at Latin) but not when you lose any sense in what is being said.

I always reassure those doors bearing the sign "this door is alarmed" and tell them there's nothing to worry about :mysmilie_8:

Unless I already know what sizing works for me in shoes offered by QVC, I won't bother. I'm between a standard and a wide fitting... and sometimes I take a size 7 and sometimes a size 6.5... and it's not the same in all styles from a brand.

With Skechers, I will only buy the lace-up ones so I can be sure about adjustment to fit my different-sized feet. I'm no longer going to waste money on the bungee or otherwise elasticated styles... and unless I want untold agony, I won't buy without a strap across my foot on other shoes (bitter experience).

They're at it again with the colours in the Skechers show now. They have a style which comes in grey with a grey sole, which "we are calling" charcoal; a black with a black sole which "we are calling" black; and a black with a white sole which "we are calling" grey, presumably because if you melted them, that's the colour the resulting plastic mush would be.

This guest has been driving me mad.

Metal "fred" running through the shoe
I'm gonna
Really pleased wiv what you find

The list goes on!

That annoying QVC jingle "find what you love, love what you find". Eh? Does that not mean the same thing "find what you love" "love what you find"?

How well I remember Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young's "Love the One You're With." I always thought this meant just make do. Is that the same with the Q jingle?

I see this TSV scored 2.5 stars out of 109 reviews.
There's a massive sale on Skechers at Sports Direct at the moment if anyone is interested.

It is SO annoying!! They run it incessantly, often two versions back to back, and - as you say - what is it actually saying? The visuals of people on their Summer holidays have nothing to do with shopping for what you love and being pleased with your purchases, they're not a travel agency. I haven't even noticed any product placement, pointless wind up.
