Ooh, that’s given me flashbacks to when we used to use those whitener sponge thingies on our school plimsolls.

I remember them. Tube with a sponge on the end , made the shoes wet & you had to wait for them to dry.

because of foot issues I can't buy any other make than Sketchers so yes they are expensive but worth every penny for me.

I use the magic sponge things which sometimes works. Mine are leather, or leather look, I can't remember which, leather I think, so rubbing them with a damp cloth sometimes works. I should maybe be like Jill Franks and clean them every time I take them off before I put them away, but the chances of that happening are small to nill

I’ve always loved Skechers black court shoes for work, they just never wear out so when I had a knee op late last year I bought two pairs of slip-ins trainer style once I was mobile and they are Heaven. They cost £77 a pair, money well spent. I’m a half size in Skechers, sizing down.

How do you keep the all white trainers looking white?

I clean mine with damp kitchen roll and Cif cream cleaner! Rinse them over with damp cloth to remove Cif. Job done! It brings the big round the edge of the trainers up great.

All I see here in the city is middle-aged men wearing them, older women. The young 20-30s wear proper trainers Addis etc. I like to people watch waiting for the bus home.

Not a big Skechers fan because of the sizing. Now in-store last year I did get a pair of waterproof boots, they look like suede with fake fur. They were £99, but I got them under £50 in their sale, and they are great for heavy rain. Even thought regular fit, yes I made sure to ask I need thick socks with them. I buy M&S vintage style trainers suede or leather. Price is usually £45 or £49 but if you can get them in the sale usually just over £20.

I do like Skechers but I dont buy many anymore. Firstly the sizing issue. Never know what size to buy and presenters give conflicting size advice. Secondly, the quality is not as good anymore and finally the price.

Same, I can’t wear anything else now and have quite a collection but never from QVC

I used to buy Skechers, but no more. I've had problems with sizes as they vary too much.
