Hi,

Waitrose do this.

I have taken back an empty pie box, and said we didn't like it, and got my money back.

Actually, thinking about it, I did it at Tescos once as well.

So maybe its one of these things that supermarkets do that isnt advertised much?

Tesco it is 2morrow then, i have my eye on some on the big easter eggs there :cheeky:, ill be gutted if i have to take the mugs back with the packaging thou :doh:

Most supermarkets do it. I took the packing back to Tescos for some bread that went mouldy almost before I got it home and to M&S last week for a chicken that was tough as shoe leather (never knew you could get tough chicken! First time ever!!). Both refunded without a quibble. As long as you have the packing and receipt (and don't do it too often) they are generally pretty good. After all, what's a couple of quid to Tesco to keep a customer happy?
