QVC are taking the p*ss!

£6 each for an individual pie?!!

Who on earth is going to waste their money on this?

At least you can get this on Easy Pay :wonder:

Ridiculous!

Crazy! I haven't seen the show, but I can imagine they've spent half of the hour mmmmming and ahhing and talking with their mouths full, and the other slagging off supermarket pies!!!!!

I suppose they've got to try and convince us that the humble pie is something worth spending over £6 on .....No individual serving pie is worth that sort of money..and the fact you have to buy six of the buggers makes the price even more ludicrous. I'd baulk at having to pay a tenner for 6 pies tbh!

What a total rip off!!

If I don't make my own then I support our local butcher.....his wife makes the most delicious variety of pies and I think the maximum price is around £1.45 per single one, depending on the filling.

Please don't add to QVC's huge profit pot - SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TRADERS instead if possible.....they need all the help they can get in these difficult times.

Totally agree with you BusyLizzie.

We have a pie shop at the end of our road and they make and bake really delicious pies - £1.60 each!

I thought those breakfast pies looked delicious. I was tempted as they had free p&p but they sold out. Might try to make my own now.

I made a homemade chicken pie last night - a big one enough for 2 meals for 3 of us, costing around £4.00 in total to make. Daft QVC prices.

I turned over as they were doing the Fish Pie. 5 for 35 quid, plus 6 quid P&P, I think.

Biagi was the host. I'll let you decide what overblown sound effects he was making chowing down on it. Good thing I didn't have my lunch in front of me. I'd have seen what I'd just eaten again, if I had..

Lime Tree Pantry have had stands at Burghley Horse Trials, as well as the Good Food show. I've not bothered to compare prices with stall/QVC/IW. Pukka Pies, or local, thanks..

where are the blackbird pies?

£40 for six pies is ludricious. You could goto Sayers bakery and get 50 odd cupcakes for that
