Simon Ward dies

Actor Simon Ward has died at the age of 70 after a long illness.

I have lovely memories of Simon Ward in the film of All Creatures Great and Small. I hope they show it again on TV as a tribute.

I was saddened that we lost Angharad Rees this weekend, too.

I know, it's horrible isn't it.

I remember being on holiday in France in the early 80s & tuning into Radio 4 to hear that James Mason had died.
I said to Himself,"My mother will be upset."
"Why?" he asked.
"She just will."

I could answer differently now.
