I don't mind Simon, though I wish he'd cover up a bit more. At least he doesn't interrupt like a lot of them and he's not full of himself like some of them, ie he's well-mannered and considerate of guests. He's not my least favourite presenter by a long shot but I think his failing is that he just can't relax into tv sales. After all, he was a good presenter on the holiday programme so he must have some ability in front of the camera but he just needs to let go of the faux QVC persona and be himself. I also think he's a lot more intelligent than most.

The shouting may be because his greatest fans are deaf elderly people who think he is a handsome young man, dressed in the 1960s package tour to Italy style that was around when they were in their prime.

Some of the more exotic ones amongst them would even consider having a dalliance with him on said package tour to Rome because he wouldn't have been able to pronounce your name properly and thus it didn't count.
