I bought a Shark anti hair wrap vacuum cleaner a few months ago, direct from Shark when it was on a good deal. I have long hair and can confirm that there’s no hair at all on the roller, even after all this time.

I do like the GTech Air ram but had to remove the roller every few weeks to cut the hair off it. 😳 I’m now looking to get the new GTech anti hair wrap platinum model for when the GTech, that is kept upstairs, gives up the ghost.

now Gtech are back at QVC with the gardening stuff i do wonder if that will be a TSV coming

It would be a good TSV for me if they did have the platinum one. They’re pretty expensive at the normal price so a TSV should be lower in price. Failing that, I do get regular offers from GTech with reduced prices so I’m keeping my eyes open and my fingers crossed.

I've got a cordless GTech, the pet one. It's good but it holds on to dog smells and you need to keep washing the filter, or maybe I need a new filter!

I recommend Shark Vacuum cleaners. The corded is heavy so cordless would be ideal if you struggle pushing a big cleaner around.

I find that the cordless shark is low on suck, gets tangles, & is heavier (than dyson cordless) The latter however only lasts about 20 minutes!

I highly recommend Shark. I switched my upright from a Dyson last year and although much heavier, the results are far better than Dyson. I'm going to by a cordless one for the quick run rounds but I've spotted a good deal on line so I'll skip this. I bought a Dysson cordless from QVC and I never got more than 10 minutes out of it when fully charged and it gave up completely after three years. I should have sent it back really. I'm convinced they sell electrical items that haven't passed the full quality testing in the factory.

I use my Dyson on eco drive and do my whole house with one charge. I even use boost around the litter. But I do have to remove hair from rollers once a week.

With superb Anti Hair Wrap technology, a flexible wand and anti-allergen seals, this feature-packed vacuum cleaner is an outstanding choice for any home, particularly one shared with pets.

*A great saving: If you were to buy the Shark Cordless Anti Hair Wrap Vacuum Cleaner IZ202UKT directly from Shark you’d pay £379.99. So, for our Today’s Special Value price of just £199.96, with no P&P to pay, you’re saving £180.03.

Anti Hair Wrap technology - no more unpicking hair clumps from a jammed brush bar! The clever Anti Hair Wrap technology separates and removes long, short and pet hair from the motorised brush-roll as you clean, sucking it straight up into the dust cup and helping to keep the brush-roll tangle free.

Two floor modes - shift from carpet to hard floor mode and back again at the touch of a button mounted on the handle. The floor modes will adjust the speed of the motorised brush roll to suit the surface you're cleaning, and the adjustable suction control helps you to clean your carpets, rugs and hard floors with just the right amount of power. If you need extra power, just pull the Boost trigger.

Clean everywhere with ease - instantly transform this slim stick vacuum into a handheld cleaner with the clever attachments included. As well as its flexible wand, which makes it easy to slip under furniture and low spaces, you'll receive a Crevice Tool for reaching into tight corners, an Upholstery Tool and an Anti Hair Wrap Pet Tool, which is ideal for lifting cat and dog hairs out from your upholstery. You can also reach up high with the wand in handheld mode to remove dust and cobwebs from ceilings and light fittings.

Easy charging - enjoy up to 40 minutes of run-time (in ION power mode, with non-motorised tool) and charge the removable battery on or off the vacuum, wherever suits you. A battery light indicator lets you know how much charge is remaining.

Anti-Allergen Complete Seal - make sure the dust and allergens that you're picking up along the way stay in the bin where they belong thanks to this Shark vacuum cleaner's high efficiency filters. The Anti-Allergen Complete Seal captures and traps 99.9% of the dust and allergens inside the vacuum, ensuring that they're not released back into the air you breathe.

I may have been tempted on this. I did see the same model a bit cheaper elsewhere but once you added in P&P it was only a small difference. Plus the use it for 60 days and then send it back option does appeal to me on this sort of buy. It's my first Shark and I have seen mixed reviews across different models. People (not just on Q's site) do seem to like this model though. So, fingers crossed.

I have three Sharks. I should release them back into the water, but at the moment I use one
for each floor of the house. One older, corded one, and two cordless, with one similar to this one (IZ 390) and the other, an ICZ 300 - the one with the small battery remaining screen at the top. Having had expensive Dyson models before I can swear by these in terms of their reliability, their effectiveness, and if bought at the right price and accessories package, their tremendous value for money. I really wouldn’t look at any other make now of vacuum cleaner.

Also, having just seen the presentation via the website with dear old Phil and not so dear old Skin, it seemed on first look that both of them were plastered, with both speaking in a comedy slurred and somewhat inebriated manner, and moving incredibly slowly, too. I then realised that I’d somehow selected 0.5 speed to watch the video played back at, and of course, both were NOT visibly drunk at all. I can highly recommend 0.5 speed to watch any QVC presentation back at, as it was one of the funniest things I’ve seen on shopping television for some time.

The same model as the TSV is on the Shark website. It’s the same price but they give you a free £40 car kit as well. Once you’ve bought a Shark and registered it and signed up for the emails, you often get special offers. That one was sent to me this morning.
