Hi everyone - I'm a newbie, but have been reading the forum for a while. I had to join to have a little rant. I ordered the Shark mop at about 30 minutes after midnight last Wednesday. It hasn't arrived and the Hermes tracking page just says 'order generated'. I phoned QVC today to chase, assuming that they would just phone the couriers to ask where it was and find an ETA, but apparently I have to be sent a declaration form ( not posted until tomorrow) and then I send that back ( this is for me to confirm that I have not received the item). Once they have received the form back, the courier will give me a courtesy call to discuss. I asked how long this process takes and she said that to speed things up they could e-mail me the form at some point in the next 72 hours !
Is this normal ? I just wanted someone to actually chase the item - sending out forms does not give the courier a nudge - it appears that the courier won't even be contacted until I send the form back. I'm not asking for another item to be sent yet - I would just like someone to chase where the item might be. I can't believe that customer services have no authority to ring the courier to check what is happening with an item.
I was really looking forward to cleaning my kitchen floor, but will have to wait :-(
