My camera's a Nikon CoolPix 885 which I can't get to work with Vista (tried downloading drivers/software) but I can't afford to replace it

Have you got a card reader on your computer Clemenzina, if so could you try the card directly in the reader? Just a thought.

It's Compact Flash which built-in cart readers don't do these days - if they ever did (CF cards are rather big) - I bought a separate USB reader but it still won't work Thanks for thinking of it.

Sorry for such a useless suggestion Clemenzina.

I've just had a look at my inbuilt card reader and it takes CFI and CFII (had to use a magnifying glass to be able to see it though, LOL).
