So Will Gowing has posted on FB that something huge is happening on his show at 9pm on Thursday.

He says there’s a blackout of info at work as it’s that big and has replied to a question asking if it’s free postage ‘no, it’s something else’

Asked if it would make a good present ‘I would say YES , although it does depend on one thing, I can’t say anything more than that’ and ‘the team have worked very hard and are very excited about it’

Combined postage? Free returns? Delivery pass? Or just a boring TSV which is listed as Samsung and doesn’t sound very exciting

Any ideas?

My thoughts exactly. I remember with deep resentment that “big announcement at 9pm tonight” thing two or three years ago (when I got out of the bath at 8.59pm to get my iPad and prop it up on the sink to watch) …. and it was 4 easy pays or some such (I have sought to erase it from my memory).

The last “exciting” announcement was getting £5 off if you bought something over £30 on the app. I do have the app but don’t use it and didn’t have a desire to spend £30 to get just £5 off, especially as there were probably strings attached.

It’ll probably be umpteen EZPays which don’t interest me anyway. Therefore, my excitement will stay under control.

increase in p&p, back to 30 days returns, having well known fashion designers, some presenters getting educated into professional presenters? Hmm

Someone on FB has suggested it could be a Samsung AI TV (whatever that is) which sounds likely as it will be literally HUGE

Not sure about it being a good birthday present though unless you’re spending about £3,000

This is weird. Why would they make such a fuss and have an information blackout, presenters sworn to silence, etc, if it’s just tech? I know it’s QVC and they hype everything to the max, but a big telly or some such is not exactly going to change any customer’s life, is it? Maybe it’s a tv which allows you to smell QVC perfumes and taste their foods? Now that would be worth having. Only if it’s under £100 though.

That’s about the level of excitement we’re looking at.

I’m at the local theatre tonight and I can’t see me watching Q on the app in the interval because I can’t wait.

So if this is correct it is yet another thing DF has got wrong, her blog said it was a TV. If it does turn out to be a smartwatch TSV I will refrain from saying "I told you so"

Samsung Earbuds are awful, such a poor fit, I got a pair free with my phone and sold them, have had Samsung phones for many years but don't rate the Earbuds.
