Aren't all the presenters freelance? i know years ago when i was at the studios i was told Vicky Burton was the only presenter employed by Gems tv and all the others were freelance, maybe it has all changed now, how would maternity leave work if your were freelance would you have no income?
 
only Smarties has the answer (other coloured choc sweeta are available)..

seriously though, try Twitter.
 
No GC. Some are employed. Others are freelance. If you're freelance you don't get maternity pay - you reclaim from the Government.

Nannylea mentioned this at the time and was wondering if they were both leaving. "Oh I doubt it" says old clever clogs here, as I remembered they'd remained friends I assumed it was social. xxx

I rather like Carole (with the volume lowered), but do find Jamie's antics very childish and embarrassing. I suppose though you can't please all the people ....... xxx
 
Maybe he jumped rather than being pushed? If that were the case, I suppose Gems wouldn't feel inclined to make a song and dance about it (but that really would be rather childish). Anyway, unless someone has an inside lead, this is all speculation.

I cannot watch either of them....not at all ........she screams and looks grumpy all the time and he is a complete pillock............. if daft, sweet Rod were to appear, I'd be well pleased!
 
not a big fan of either jamie or carol either, i am not a rod fan either, but he is better than carol or jamie

Sad to hear that Rod has departed Gems but I hope he left happily and not under any clouds.

Lynn started up her own company recently called "Table Tasks". Perhaps he / they will be able to devote more time to this venture now.

I wish him and Lynn well xx
