Rick Astley and Oasis should sue Laurelle

Does it really matter though where they are based, what price they are being sold for, what approved shops they have... surely all that matter is the smell and how long it lasts?

I think it does and to some extent that's part of the problem. As has been mentioned in this thread it's almost impossible to find out anything about the brand like what it smells like, or how long it lasts. No reliable reviews, no ratings on fragrance sites, it isn't sold anywhere on the high street that you could test it.

I don't know if you watch the Sit Up channels but many of the past presentations of this brand don't really seem to match up with what little we have been able to discover about the company. We really are in the hands of the presenters and one or two of them could appear to be exaggerating the pedigree of the brand, and that is putting it mildly.

As I mentioned earlier some of the Laurelle products are cheap (around a tenner delivered) so you might consider them worth a punt but some of them have cost upwards of £30 delivered which isn't peanuts, especially when you compare that to some far better known brands that they sell.

I could be wrong, but isn't this exactly the same old, same old as per the "tales" of Skin Pharmacy serums? (They sell on some basic website for £129 don't you know)
Also, Kylie Minogue allegedly goes straight to it, (the snake serum one), when she pops into Harrods incognito without any make-up on as reiterated by Lisa Brash some months ago I recall.

Peter Sherlock is designing a fragrance for Laurelle. Jeez they must have a really close partnership with them eh Nikki?

The vast majority of the fragrances are eau de parfum - which should last upto six hours on the skin, if not longer. They're lovely fragrances, in attractice packaging. In terms of me working with them, they said that they were bringing out a new "shoe" fragrance, and I asked if i could have some input into the fragrance notes, and they've said yes. For me it's incredibly exciting to be part of a creative process....

Good for you Peter, I hope it goes well.

Going back to the original question can you tell us a bit more about Laurelle?

Many thanks.
