The garden season launch. Whoopie. :mysmilie_8: Dickie is so excited and so he should be. Over 31 quid for bl**dy plant food?? Is he having a laugh?

Apparently we should be using it once a week right now and twice a week in the summer. The neighbours would think I'd gone completely mad if they saw me watering the garden with the hosepipe in February. :rain:

Noticed Dickie's hands are looking very manicured now. He must be making so much money from flogging his horticultural Viagra, that he's Leighton's number wun celebrity client. :coo2l:

I know!! Daft huh! £31 for plant food!! Why would you use it now?! Nothing is growing!! I was a big fat sucker last time he sold that tub and I can't say it really made much difference to my garden! This year, I'm buying tomato food from the garden centre for £3 a tub.... but in May, when you're supposed to!

PS we could still have snow!! This time last year we did! Plant food now.... (shaking head)!

Well that was certainly an eye- grabbing thread title!!

From the thread title I thought RJ had diversified! Really hard to keep up these days............:cheeky:

I went to a big garden centre last year and asked the assistant what to get for my non-flowering wisteria and she said, pointing to the huge array of products, "between you and me, all any plant ever needs is the cheapest tomato food you can buy".
