I heard they did a sort of cross over and brought in another character to help with techy part of that scene, Inspector Gadget, played by another top Hollywood actor, Peter Volebregt, seemingly they had to pay top dollar to entice him from his present gig.
In an interview asking why he took the part, Peter was quoted as saying, "You know, it's not about the money, i have star billing in my present role, but who could turn down the opportunity to work along side one of the great icons in the world of entertainment, it's an absolute honour to share screen time on the big screen with the incredible IW Ceramic heater, it will be the highlight of my illustrious career. There has also been strong hints that it may even lead to being mentioned in the New Years Honours List."
The reporter, unable to hide their excitement and joy at the thought of a possible honour for the star, replied "Imagine, in a few short months we could be seeing, Sir Peter & Lady Genevieve, live and exclusive on ITV from 12.00 - 3.00 am and featuring the world famous Snore Wizard.":D

You see Tom, when you have a smartphone, you don't need to take an alarm clock with you (removes clock from the case)

Tom Cruise
Wow, I'm impressed!

Peter V
And you won't need your paper maps either as you have satnav and Google earth (removes maps from the case)

Tom Cruise
Double wow, your demo really brings it home how useful smartphones are ...thanks Peter :)

etc etc ;)

The out-of-work actor guy? Well, I presume he's out of acting work when he is appearing on IW selling radiators? Hamlet or a reconditioned iPhone 6S presentation? Now let me think...Peter Volla...Volle...the one with the Dutch surname, that's who I mean.

He uses this temperature device from Collins Cash and Carry to tell us how warm his ceramic units are. I only ever watch radiator shows for approximately two minutes, so I'm not sure how accurate I am on this, but the readings on his screen appear to be in centigrade. And I'm sure I saw a reading of 75 degrees in centigrade showing when I last saw him doing this. Isn't that about 170 degrees fahrenheit?? I don't really want my living room warmer than the Death Valley if at all possible, not even if I can return it within 14 days - the radiator, not the front room

There is no thermostat fitted to the panels in the demo, hence the higher temperatures.

He needs the higher temps to make his demo look more spectacular, if the temps are nearer normal temps then the radiators would be up to the thermostat temp to fast and the temp rise after switching off would look minimal or none at all.
The whole temp demo is dependent on the high temperatures and the exact timing to get the figures they want. If you tried the same demo with an actual radiator or say switching off later (maybe 5 mins instead of 3) and the demo is screwed. ;)

Well watched a bit of a recording of last night, show of lies, sorry mean watch show.

And as posted before, they came out with the predicted lies.

RGMT is an American Brand - lie - They have set up the web site to give the impression they are an American Watch Brand, but they are not. The Brand is part of The Dartmouth Brands in London. They also have released a couple of watches where some money from their sales will be donated to the navy seals Foundation, but in reality it looks like a marketing ploy to appeal to customers in America.

Had to get stock rushed over from RGMT in America for the show - lie - RGMT don't keep any stock in America, why because RGMT don't have any presence in America not one solitary office, The brand and their web site is run from London and any orders the web site gets, is fulfilled directly from Solar Time in Hong Kong.

Nobody else stocks these watches in Europe apart from IW - lie - They are in stock and can bought from Mystique Boutique in London, the online retailer is part of/run by The Dartmouth Brands, although they are selling at the ridiculous RRPs so probably don't get many orders. Orders in the UK will be delivered in 2/3 days from their UK stock, International orders from outwith the UK will be delivered direct from Hong Kong in 5/7days just like orders to the RGMT site.

Hayley on Garmin watches (see she's not wearing her Apple Watch;)) - "and perhaps you are like me and not sleeping so well, you want to watch how you sleep and see if you can improve on that."

Really, thought since you bought (or gifted i should say) the Emma mattress you and creepy were getting the best night sleep ever, so much so you went and bought a second one for when you are down working at IW?

They just can't stop telling fibs this lot.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Nail on the head :)

Star Wars droid, well what a pile of cr+p for 17.99. Supposedly hunting for a ball that was right there on the studio floor and it went everywhere but........at one point it just keeled over onto its side.

Alex, interior specialist, co presenting 😜
What droid was it?

hayley green is just awful

"I love puddings I do I eat them all the time" (looks like it Hayley)

"some of you do not realise that if you have an item in the basket it is not yours"

That's it slag of the intelligence of your viewers she has said the above at least 5 times in 10 minutes

They must have a huge pile of watches in the warehouse because they’re never off the screen and they’re all makes I’ve never heard of.

I think that the 'stock' they are always on about is a myth.
I doubt that they hold 'stock' of anything-they probably have a fluid arrangement with their suppliers to meet the demand they are able to generate with on air presentations.
People in the review section are always complaining that they had to wait for their orders , which suggests they are fulfilling orders as they go along.
The 'stock' business is just a device to hurry people along into buying - as with all sales if you don't get the customer to commit while he's hot ,he'll have cooled off by the following day and you've lost the sale.

Remember in the 80's and 90's (if you're old enough!) some cars were branded with every trick in the book to appeal to boy racers young and old. So on the boot lid you'd see a whole lot of wording that quite frankly looked terrible e.g. 'Twin Turbo' followed by 'DOHC' followed by 'GT' followed by '4x4.'

I think of that when I see IW selling their Xtreme Pro Advance drone. Any more adjectives you want to throw at it IW? lol :)

p.s. the footage quality of the 'HD' camera looks pants compared to proper drones.

Well that sensational design, best in the world, Lunokhod 2 stealth model does nowt for me. Seen plenty other makes with black cases and straps, but this has the ultra fine NH35 auto movement.(n)

Yeah how stealthy is a 49mm dia, 17mm depth great big chunk of metal on your wrist. Must be close to 300g with bracelet.

As you say plenty of black cased watches out there, look how many Casio do, I've a Glycine combat sub and a Luminox with back cases. Stacks out there

Funnily enough will be posting a black case watch for the Sekonda show on Tuesday, especially the case back, just to show, that although these days Sekonda is just an inexpensive fashion watch for those just wanting an everyday watch, they are a lot more honest about their watches than a lot of the brands on IW, ie they tell you on the back of their watches just exactly where the watches come from, they aren't afraid of using the word China, unlike Swan & Edgar, The Dartmouth brands, The Resultco Brands etc etc. ;) :ROFLMAO:
