Oh I know Aqua, he’s a tool. And it could be said that a £1 Bottle of Multivitamins from Poundland can possibly boost your Immune System. I’d like to think they aren’t being opportunist in making that claim right now but we all know they possibly are:mad: And that Grease The Movie Garb he’s wearing makes him look like an even bigger Tossa than he usually does.

But I genuinely cannot believe they want 150 Sovs for that load of plonk, incredible:eek:

Paul Becque selling some mini gym thing said, 'if we're all gonna be stuck inside for a few weeks, we need something to do, come on......'

Why are they celebrating their birthday now? It's not till mid April surely?
Because for them Christmas starts on the first day of September , and Black Friday runs for a fortnight - so why not have a month long birthday ?
Anyway , it's good to know that in the current emergency the demand for garish Chinese watches is still driving the internet into meltdown and beyond !
To be fair they have to try to keep calm and carry on -there is no alternative.

I saw MM in his 'Greasesque' High School cardy the other day. Unsure how the fancy dress theme correlates with a 'birthday celebration' but there you go.

He couldn't quite manage the DA though!

Let’s face it Momma, if they didn’t throw a party for themselves then nobody else would :)
Yesterday they showed their 50s party video clip followed by a promotion for Stannah stairlifts, so obviously aiming at the people who are old enough to remember the 1950s or at least they *think* they do (y)

Also as they're having a 'party' before their actual birthday, perhaps they might even think they could go bust next month?

That video clip is never off, almost as annoying as the presenter. :ROFLMAO:

Despite their constant claims that stuff is flying out the doors, have to believe that the present situation in the country must be having an effect on their sales, can imagine loads are folk are going to be more worried about their jobs and money for food, rent etc than most of the stuff IW sell.

Peter says - "we're to be launch at Baselworld, first in the world to see it" then "first in UK to own it"

Latter may be nearer the truth seeing as they're on sale on Chrono24

And the when nodding dog keeps mentioning "only two watch brands meet the strict Swiss confederation standards", he's being very economical with the truth. What he really means is only two watch brands, have paid (believe it's a couple of million) for a license and met Swiss Confederation standards required to legally use the 'Swiss Military' branding on their watches. Of course that doesn't mean that the many other Swiss brands don't meet Swiss confederation standards, most of them will and some to a higher standard, it's just that they don't need to apply / pay for the license as they don't / won't ever be using the 'Swiss Military' branding on their watches.

Mason up to his usual storytelling (lies) again.

Mason on his Goddess, "the only thing she put on her skin is Elizabeth Grant"

Strange cause on a Nourish London show the end of last year, he's said his Goddess used it on her skin when they came back from holiday and "she adores this, I mean adores this, every time she knows we're on, Mike, Mike have a word with Dr Pauline can I get some more of that."

Well obviously Elizabeth Grant is not the only thing she puts on her skin, huh.

Nodding dog gets on my nodding nerves! He always says the other Companies that used the name were virtually shut down overnight, I didn't know about the license payment.

They weren't shut down. It came about because the Swiss Federation wanted the Trademark for "Swiss Military", and the ability to make money off companies for using it. Montres Charmex, small Swiss company, had the trademark and won the initial court case, but lost on appeal, they are still in business.
Victorinox had been in dispute with the Swiss Federation for years, because they had registered the 'Swiss Military' trademark in the USA, and of course the Swiss Federation wanted it, but they eventually agreed a deal where the Swiss Federation got the trademark for 'Swiss Military' and Victorinox still own the 'Swiss Army' trademark.

DP just asked us 'at ome' if his head looks ok as he's sprayed it?

Might have sprayed his head but it's done nothing for his brains, still spouting nothing but lies and rubbish so far. Awards for their watchmaking, must insure them. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Their first watch was designed by the expert design team at Heritor, really, strange how the same design is available on Aliexpress, probably made in the same Chinese factory that's why. And £200 alone for a bracelet, that has a cheap pressed metal clasp, you can pick up bracelets like that for a £10-£20 on Ali.
Really he should be locked up, nothing but out and out deception and fraud.

He said one watch was previously sold for £900, tonight it was £200. What??

He kept pronouncing Aura as Aurora the buffoon.

The £900 will be the Heritor RRP, probably the price IW show on their web site before they have them on air, anybody buying it at that price needs their wallet taken away from them for their own good.

Heritor are part of Resultco, American fashion watches, they claim the materials used are all sourced from the best quality internationally, what they mean is China, they have19 watch brands. Reign which was on IW the other week is another of their brands. Although they have so many brands with their own web sites etc, they all lead back to a small office suite in Michigan.

The President of Heritor summed up how they work, on their web site they have vastly inflated RRP, so that when dealers sell their watches they can offer big discounts, because customers like discounts, so will think they are getting a bargain.

“We accept the consumer’s psychology of never buying a product at retail regardless of brand. Today’s consumer needs to satisfy their mental state to want a discount when making a purchase. To aid the retailer we enhance the retail price with an expectation that the dealer will discount at purchase.”

So in other words, when you buy a Heritor watch from IW, you're not getting a Quality watch at a reduced price, ie a bargain, you're just getting a watch from China at a price slightly above it's true value (Aliexpress is where you'll find the true value of these watches).

Despite their claims of being busy, I think the current crisis is having an effect on their sales, the Renault waterless wax is actually a really good price and it's a decent product. The fact it's not selling out fast, like it did the last time they had this on, maybe folks aren't buying in their droves like they usually do.

Remember it's Swan & Edgar tonight, should be good for a laugh. Wonder if we'll get the usual rubbish of being design and UK made watches from the master watchmakers of Swan & Edgar, nae doubt we'll be getting claims of £400-£500 pound watches going a peanuts. Just a shame we won't be getting the truth, re-badged Aliexpress watches.:ROFLMAO:

You could pay IW £109.99
