Thanks for the kind words… Daytimes on Ideal World essentially unwatchable nowadays, so not room for much to say there. Great camaraderie on here, as I said. Will still post the ODD picture from to time to time. Caught the Football Collectibles hour with Mike last night, and to be fair, some great items on there….Stay well, all…

Hey Duke

I used to like the old Collectables hours wish they were bought back

Ideal world
Depends, Peter seems to to think 40mm is cadet size but on other occasions 42mm is cadet size, he just makes it up as he goes along.:ROFLMAO:

Not sure myself, not something you hear apart from Peter & IW, but i vaguely remember reading somewhere years ago after searching for info, cadet size seems to be a smaller size watch in the 30s, maybe 34mm-38mm, but not 40mm & up as Peter seems to think. Could be wrong, as i say was a few years ago i read it online and being online could be crap. :)

nobody watching Sally
No, she's too loud and the models think everything is fantastic and £80 cheaper than the high street 🤣

Very true, it's the line up from hell during the day.

I got that subbuteo edition for xmas in 1970.

I hate the fact many modern cars are becoming ever more like devices as opposed to cars. Screens instead of dials, knobs and switches. Interior lighting akin to a disco. No proper handbrake. Often no actual dipstick. Beeping at you left right centre. And to be plugged in to recharge!

Nope you can't halt change, 'progress', however when it comes to cars I'm happy to admit I'm a bit of a luddite ;)
Well if it’s a dipstick that you need I have found you one that can sit in the back of the car, morphie in hand and having him there I can guarantee,on 4 flexis, that nobody would want to nick your car

The worst thing for me as another driver is the sheer brightness of those LED headlights. Probably great for the driver of the new car, not so for many of his fellow drivers.
Also what is the point of having a whole car front plastered in lights which is now quite a popular trend?
Many vehicles look like they could be extras in Close Encounters of Third Kind!

My thoughts exactly, technology for technologies sake🤬😡Hate modern cars in some ways, even the older cars I typically buy have got pointless extras on now🤔😟God know in a few years time and I’m buying todays latest cars second hand in the future😵‍💫
And more to point really, how reliable are all these gadgets going to be?
Lets face it, there is less and less stuff you can DIY on your own car anyway these days. It seems we should be expecting many large repair bills.
I think it's likely that we'll see huge drops in residual values after a few years considering the massive price of even a fairly basic new car.

Talking of cars. In case any of you were wondering I managed to sneak around IW car park earlier and found Peter and Mikes cars. They are obviously raking in the money.Expensive cars…not sure who owns which car or maybe Company cars which any presenter can use?😊
