Selling a Heritor watch last night for £269.99. Two things to say. Can be had cheaper elsewhere. Also, yes taste is subjective, but how the heck do you easily tell the time with this design? It would make my head hurt trying to pick out the hour and minute hand!

On a serious note, IW will say they're the home of bargains, but time and time again we find their wares cheaper elsewhere.

Was looking forward to watch free day, but you just had to post about a watch. :ROFLMAO:

Okay so, didn't see Janice during the night but after reading your post went to see what he was saying about this watch. While trying to find that watch on the IW youtube channel i saw this and immediately went woah woah, and my watch free day was gone.:(:ROFLMAO:

Okay this is not really IW fault, Resultco's fault they've supplied IW with the descriptions, but they (IW) should at least employ folk (buyers) should know what the hell they are buying and selling. It's also a lesson on why you should be wary of these unscrupulous micro brands that feature on Selly Telly. ;)

According to the description on IW site and Reign site that is a Seiko NH35 movement.

So what's the problem?

It ain't a Seiko NH35, it's a Chinese movement, very similar to the Hangzhou 2189 (probably a variant made at another Chinese movement maker), maybe Professor Branestawn will know the exact movement.

I know me and hammy often watch IW on the Sky Platform, and often the picture is a mess, not sure about other platforms

I don't know if that's an IW problem or Sky, but does seem to be the main picture/feed with an earlier picture/feed flashing over it. You can still get the main picture/feeds sound okay, but the picture is unwatchable.

Hangzhou 2189
I think is is a variant of the Hangzhou 2189. They don’t offer all variants for separate sale (2189G is what they are currently up to, so 7 variants - I’m thinking this will just be a customer-specific one)
Fake blued screws too. I disassembled one a year or so ago and the bluing wasn’t from heat treating. It was actually paint!

All Hangzhou 2xxx movements are based on the Seiko 7009A which was once the Seiko 5 mechanism. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a watch with so much shiny perlage as that Reign one - you’d never have thought its original function was to trap dust! Or maybe…
🤣🤣

Paint, well who'd a thunk it.....

Shiny shiny to maybe make the buyer think its better than it is or to distract the eye away from the rest of it....
