I think it’s been said before, you seem able to pick a fight in an empty room.freenacelers?
No, means nothing to me either. I just remember the unfunny punchline. Interesting that Pedro has nicked the unfunny punchline from an unfunny comedian. I'm not making a direct comparison between Pedro and an unfunny comedianBob Nelson, from Burnley, supposedly.
Can’t say the name means anything, though?
Found in "On Behalf of the Committee: A History of Northern Comedy" by Tony Hannan.
Thanks Jazzy - that explains it!It was Live and Kicking in 1999, 3 years after Peter got quietly dropped
It was Zoe and Jamie, not Pedro. Thanks Jazzy - that explains it!
it was awarded to Katy Hill for best presenter, for the last episode - not to Pedro, who was long gone by then, just as you say.
Although strangely, BBC news says it went to Jamie and Zoe.
Still - not Pedro!
Coz I've got lots of noise going on, did I hear him say words to the effect of, closing down coz no customers come? Appropriate for his later years? And some of those faces bought back memories.Peter didn’t even work with Jamie and Zoe, he left the show in 1996, when Andi Peters and Emma Forbes left.
Andi left to go to ITV, Emma left as she was expecting, which she found out in the summer break she was expecting, returned on the first show back to say goodbye, Mm Pedro just dropped.
Pedros possible last bit of Mainstream TV is about 7 minutes into this clip
I had to relisten.Coz I've got lots of noise going on, did I hear him say words to the effect of, closing down coz no customers come? Appropriate for his later years? And some of those faces bought back memories.
I remember watching that live, Poor Andi ended up like a crying wreck at the endAndi Peters and Peter Simon, what a combination. Camp and camper, vile and viler?
