Maybe the Doctor’s Formula will help him rid himself of them? Engaging in pathetical and theatrical price posturing on a toy car, now. What is it? A Lotus? Clearly doesn’t like Alex Knowles. He’s been disparaging about him too many times now. The corporal is actually a better presenter than him. It must irritate him accordingly.

Bullies in general or specific bullying via undermining people, I have never liked in any walk of life. Now, we definitely can’t be sure whether Bugler Mason actually really dislikes/likes Rear Admiral Knowles or not? Whether his banter towards him is genuinely trying to regularly undermine him on-air, or just a bit of harmless fun between the two of them. What we DO know is that the Colonel has appeared regularly here, under his own name, and actively taken comments about suggested improvements on board. These include those vile price and disingenuous comparisons. Now…potentially doing that wouldn’t endear him or anyone else doing similar, to the old ‘big guns’ in a small armoury relics, happily going with the existing system. I hope we are seeing something that actually isn’t really there in this. But nonetheless - I don’t pick up a good vibe from it.

And further to your comments about Alex engaging with the forum, we know The Goddess has bad history with it and Yiannis has said don't read it. Engaging with us and mentioning us in a positive way on his shows probably won't go down well with some people. However he doesn't just agree with everything we say but gives his perspective and views. But I think just being on here openly would be viewed negatively.

And I do have a problem with bullying being dressed up as 'just banter'. I work for the Civil Service and my department is doing a lot to weed out bad behaviour. I haven't seen the interactions myself so can't comment but if Mike is making sly digs it's unlikely to be harmless fun, unless it's back and forth. I think you would get a better feeling if that was the case. Mike certainly comes over as arrogant and I can believe he would be snide to a guest or co-presenter if the other person was more eloquent or more knowledgeable than him.
