Nubeo (Solar Time, Hong Kong) are another of those watch ranges with highly inflated RRPs so that retailers can give big discounts, but even with discounts retailers prices are still way more than the watch is actually worth and as Mainspring is also Solar Time then they can discount way more than retailers especially in a sale, seeing as they'll know much the watch actually costs to make. ;)
Cheers.

I SOooooo hope most (all) folk are savvy enough to 'do a Google'!!!

Found this in a cupboard today and decided to put it in the front window. During the Plandemic first Christmas in 2020, I spoke to somebody near the house with a child, and they thanked me for putting this in the window as it made the child happy every time they walked past in the strange, unhappy times occurring then. I never forgot this. One concession in the house to Christmas now.

My partner is away seeing her son in Bath this weekend. I wouldn’t normally be watching if she was here as she doesn’t let me. But here I am, stood sitting ‘ere, okay? Stuck with that cu…Walter… Of course, I choose to be stuck with him, as he is just so addictively appalling to watch. You always hope for a Peter Finchesque implosion a la Network. With him screaming at the camera and viciously attacking the floor manager with several canes, then chopping them up with that axe thing they used to not sell and shoving them in a Slazenger holdall. You live in hope… And why the fu…does he relentlessly introduce himself every friggin’ show.

Those dehumidifier things. My aunt got one of those: virtually the same overall. She gave it to my mother. Where did she get it? Pound shop. That's £9 and not £13 + PP. (IF she were to get 9) Thinking about it. They probably get a lot of their items from the pound shop. Whatever you think of the channel and its presenters, some items are a 'bit' better than others: but then, others aren't.

Everybody got Christmas Food and Presents sorted, I think we are like 99% done

Sadly no, still need to find a few bits including a chicken crown to cut in half, first portion Christmas and then reheated Boxing day, the other New Years day and 2nd Jan. Looks like Lidl don't have them and Morrisons were out of stock.

Couldn't find a nice looking piece of gammon to cook for ham, gone for a bacon joint instead.

Sprouts, carrots and parsnips 8p a bag from Lidl. None of the nice banana shallots in stock though sadly. Need to find some nice potatoes.
