Ah… I see what you mean. I remember posting that my wife was critically ill on her Facebook page because she had a number of friends and relatives abroad who needed to be made aware of her situation, and there was no way that it was possible for me to ring them all. Most people would put a caring emoticon or similar as a response, but one or two people put a like symbol. I don’t think they meant to be offensive by doing it but it didn’t seem appropriate to like the fact that she was critically ill when you look at it in that way – although they didn’t mean it ‘that way’.What I mean is, if you post that ure ill for example, Sometimes feel horrible liking a post. As in my mind, it’s like you are liking somebody Is ill, if you get me.
