What I mean is, if you post that ure ill for example, Sometimes feel horrible liking a post. As in my mind, it’s like you are liking somebody Is ill, if you get me.

I like we go off topic, as it remains civil
Ah… I see what you mean. I remember posting that my wife was critically ill on her Facebook page because she had a number of friends and relatives abroad who needed to be made aware of her situation, and there was no way that it was possible for me to ring them all. Most people would put a caring emoticon or similar as a response, but one or two people put a like symbol. I don’t think they meant to be offensive by doing it but it didn’t seem appropriate to like the fact that she was critically ill when you look at it in that way – although they didn’t mean it ‘that way’.

Duke thanks for replying

Amazing scenes. Foghorn Sally has just got her phone out live on air and pretended to order 4 sets of the stuff that she's currently selling on the tele! She's as fake as a 6 pound note. 😄
She needs to tell the watch expert wifey this can be done, she seems to think the presenters need to email in asking if they can buy the product ;)

It's almost as if they're bullsh1tting the viewers ;)

I get what you mean Jazzy. There have been a few (sad) posts where I've wanted to react but felt that a thumbs up or any of the other options didn't seem… appropriate.

I gave a thumbs up a Tim West post earlier from my phone (where accessing the other options is trickier) but I don't want people to think I'm giving a thumbs up to the (thoroughly decent) chap passing! It a 'thumbs up' to what the poster has said about him being a top bloke.

And sometimes I feel even the sad face emoji might seem a bit shallow and impersonal if I'm responding to something in a forum poster's personal life and not something sad about selly telly - like molten brown bottles rolling around the bottom of a box - or the world in general.

Let’s not be naive here. I reckon if they want something they are offered at the end/ beginning of the presentation. I mean what is a piece of tat at £9.99 to IW who probably got it for half that price anyway?
But,no I doubt very much they actually have stuff off there..

Can you imagine if they did buy stuff? It would be a great sales tactic..” Peter from Lancs is in,Mike and the Goddess are in,Sally’s in and Gen’s in,and top of the morning to you Gen”

I only mentioned that the bottles had come loose in transit, that's all.

Love it when the presenter is tempted by the goods on sale…

Bit quiet here tonight. Mike sending everyone to sleep?

Well I must mention that Mikes first presentation was magnifying glasses (yes you heard that right)….bit louder magnifying glasses. And… he’s had lots and lots of emails from viewers asking for these very things!

What? Pull the other one you lying toad.

Can you just imagine waking up this morning, rubbing your eyes, yawning, wondering what to eat for breakfast then thinking to yourself ‘I know I’ll email Mike Mason to ask if he has got any magnifying glasses coming up’..well Moyke, I hate to say this but the more and more lies that you tell, then the less anyone will believe anything that comes out of that bearded hole of yours!

I feel like a masochist watching him,and let’s be honest,a lot of us do so because in a strange way he entertains. We do it to have a laugh and wonder how on earth he believes that anyone can believe a word he says…must go,the suicidal ladders are on.This should be good..

Oh, he doth protest far too much, methinks.

Some woman apparently has been texting, and he thinks she might have been making a sly dig at him thinking he’s funny, when she thinks he isn’t.

Sadly, for him, he’s not particularly funny. Least, not intentionally. Only my opinion, of course. Others may find him absolutely hilarious.

What does amaze me is the amount of times he’ll publicly say on air how much he really doesn’t care if people like him or not. Continually repeating that mantra show after show.

I actually don’t see that in him. What I see is someone who appears to be incredibly thin skinned about what people think of him, but turns it around publicly at least to give the impression he couldn’t care less. I suspect that is far from the truth.

I just started watching, saw the ladders, then promptly switched off!

Why would he say that if it didn't bother him?

He reminds me of a kid at school who wasn't popular but was desperate to be part of the cool group. He tried to be everyone's mate, acting a bit flash but just wasn't likeable. MeMike reminds me of him. And anybody as thin skinned as him shouldn't read this forum, we're not the Mike Mason Fan Club. Why would he read constant criticism about him if he didn't care what we say? Probably won't do his blood pressure much good.
