On the WOW, I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT side: a MUCH better use of the set (I rarely see anything before 4PM, so no idea if it's how they usually do mornings). Kudos to whoever in production suggested the staging …Unless Natalia did so she didn't have to share the screen with the guest.
The regular 'news presenter' approach to flogging stuff isn't exactly inviting. But two biddies having a natter on some (cheap-looking, tbh) furnishings, with
2 camera shots regularly cutting between them (meaning someone is actually in the gallery for once doing something other than texting in as Hammy) is a big step up.
Just the rest of the 14km ladder to climb to reach 'professional', IW3
Talking of the guest, was that lady roped in from HR at the last minute because resident DIY/tech/solar light/hula hoop/beauty expert (Peter Vollebraid) got stuck in traffic? C'mon Gen: check for road works before you drive in to drop him off for his day care
On the WOW, THAT'S FLUCKIN' EFFED UP side: someone send up the ASA signal on behalf of animal safety
One
cannot go on air encouraging people to put chemicals, however safe for humans, on animal skin – ESPECIALLY on an area the animal can lick and ingest! She may well say she didn't tell others to do it, but she implied it's safe as there was no mention of any downside. First she mentions dogs, and then says cats - as if they have the same skin! WTH! So many everyday products really irritate animal skin.
Unless she knows something we don't… like that lip salve is repackaged dog cream
