Caine is the presenter of the graveyard shift this evening. When he is being restrained, and not behaving like a wurring buffoon, he is actually a pretty decent presenter compared to the rest.
He's got 14 guests for Christmas lunch, and 51 for New Year's Eve! Guess he doesn't live in a tiny hovel.

Wonderful Japanese war weapons extravaganza with Caine this evening…Plus a toy organ he can’t play, and sounds absolutely dreadful…

The ASA, as part of a previous complaint over the same presenter on a similar issue, dealt with it informally with the Channel, I believe. It told them not to make statements on beauty products usage on pets and the alleged benefits of doing so. It is a completely unsatisfactory and irresponsible tactic, and clearly, having been spoken with previously about it, has made absolutely no difference whatsoever to them. Surely, it is absolute common sense not to make direct connections with products for humans not intended for use on pets and vice versa. I mean…..You wouldn’t recommend a cream for your dog’s anus to be rubbed into yours, now would you? All sorts of unwanted consequences could occur as a result – eating your food from a bowl on the floor, chasing a ball, scratching your ****** on the kitchen floor, urinating over the carpet or worse…Clearly, there is some sort of learning block or a wilful resistance to positive change on this channel that really is a serious concern.

Thank you, royal mail delivered the first part of the order, but we shall see when i call them later.:)
It turns out EVRI are supposed to be delivering part of my order. Wouldn't know this though because they don't tell you
But i won't be using them again and the dispatch, if stock is available will be 19th Nov 17 days after the order was placed, so it has been cancelled. Awful service.

The shiny lady has apparently applied a beauty product to her dog's paws area. Maybe check with a vet first...

On the WOW, I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT side: a MUCH better use of the set (I rarely see anything before 4PM, so no idea if it's how they usually do mornings). Kudos to whoever in production suggested the staging …Unless Natalia did so she didn't have to share the screen with the guest.

The regular 'news presenter' approach to flogging stuff isn't exactly inviting. But two biddies having a natter on some (cheap-looking, tbh) furnishings, with 2 camera shots regularly cutting between them (meaning someone is actually in the gallery for once doing something other than texting in as Hammy) is a big step up.

Just the rest of the 14km ladder to climb to reach 'professional', IW3 ;)

Talking of the guest, was that lady roped in from HR at the last minute because resident DIY/tech/solar light/hula hoop/beauty expert (Peter Vollebraid) got stuck in traffic? C'mon Gen: check for road works before you drive in to drop him off for his day care 🤭

On the WOW, THAT'S FLUCKIN' EFFED UP side: someone send up the ASA signal on behalf of animal safety 🐾

One cannot go on air encouraging people to put chemicals, however safe for humans, on animal skin – ESPECIALLY on an area the animal can lick and ingest! She may well say she didn't tell others to do it, but she implied it's safe as there was no mention of any downside. First she mentions dogs, and then says cats - as if they have the same skin! WTH! So many everyday products really irritate animal skin.

Unless she knows something we don't… like that lip salve is repackaged dog cream 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did one to the ASA(Arseh…) previously- the one I referred to in the previous post. I assume they got a lickle telling off and today is the proof of it. Turns my stomach to hear irresponsible shyte like that going out once - let alone twice..

I also filed a complaint about the red light tunnel heals lame animals, but never heard back. I'd submit a complaint about this one but I think, in the ASA's eyes, if you complain about a channel or a specific claim more than once they write off your future complaints as being part of a vendetta.

Spot on. They clearly have no stomach for any serious enforcement of anything. It’s very unfortunate for the poor bloo dy consumer, because if Ideal World was trading in a similar cavalier manner on the the Low Street, Trading Standards would ‘ave ‘em,. Without a doubt they would..
