A bit bored with pedro so ASA complaint in for last nights Duchump farce. Reminded them they ignored my previous complaints at the same time.
If they ignore again, I'll be making another complaint, this time about ASA itself. ;)
He was also clearly ā€˜confusedā€™ this morning, saying he launched two candles last night for Ā£17.98, when he was actually doing exactly the same offer - Three for Ā£9.99.

It must be fire-damaged stock or well past its sell-by date. šŸ˜‰

When it's items like this, one off show rather than multiple MB products & regular shows (like say when Elizabeth Grant was on IW), IMO it's more likely stock from wholesalers/suppliers who've had orders cancelled or too much stock and wanting to offload items.

Marks talking about Drinking while Cooking, Fire Engines to the rescue

Heard this heli is in the air over Feltham as a precaution.

Gee, I thought I was getting a bargain. Serves me right for ordering.

Are you not getting a bargain? Thought the prices were good.
It may well be a bargain, but speaking personally if I get any more shower gel/hand washy type stuff in a plastic bottle with a posh name this Xmas AGAIN it will go straight back into its wrapping paper and next Xmas another poor unsuspecting relative will be the happy recipient šŸ˜›

Mispronunciations I hear regularly around me (no names, no pack drill - huh? wtf does that actually mean/come from?)

- Raidillon (with hard L)

- coldslaw

- codacodamol

- simavastin

- anti-mercurial

- Trasar

- blankmange

Can't think of any more... For now...
You forgot Pillaā€¦ā€¦

This is quite an interesting article. The company is being pulled up for sales practices such as countdown clocks and high demand prompts.

MMmmm. I wonder what other retailers use similar tactics?

ā€œThe CMAā€™s probe also found that Emmaā€™s website showed extensive discount offers, but there was evidence that only a small fraction of its products were actually sold at full price.ā€

Hmm, just wait until they look into all those watch brands with high RRPs yet perennially discounted with countdown clock offersā€¦

ā€¦or most of what TJC and IW sell which never comes to air at the supposed ā€œregular priceā€ yet but weā€™re told it does

Pedro today tellling us the candles sold at a higher price last night despite them actually being sold at the same discount price as tonight - itā€™s always the discount price is new, wrong, limited time, once itā€™s gone itā€™s gone, last chance, donā€™t dilly or dally you have been so advised, multi-buy,

The clear horrendous lie/ā€˜clerical errorā€™ about the candles being sold hours previously by the same person for significantly more and for one candle less, when that never happened, was the worst sales transgressions I have heard the new version - even by their ridiculously low standards of candour. This particular scenario shows things are out of control with no fears of any repercussions whatsoever, whatever they do or say.
