Peter is up at 10am with that Gel Seat, no doubt will cure all his alliments
How many of us think he will say that it cures his 'Farmer Giles'šŸ¤£

He's got every other ailment going but only when it's necessary to lure the viewer to 'ave a buy.

I wonder if he suggested putting it on your insurance?

He asks "how many of us have destroyed freezers using a screwdriver and hammer chipping away blah blah". :ROFLMAO:

Maybe in IW's world that's a common occurrance but in my world i've never seen or heard of anyone taking a hammer and screwdriver to a freezer.
Never. I use bowls of boiling water on each shelf (for the steam to rise) and use a freezer defrost spray from Lakeland (not that effective but it helps).

It's a bit of a faff to do it but not the worst job in the world. And it ensures that it gets a deep clean before putting food back in.

He said he had 6, and so did everybody he knows
He clearly has interesting conversations with his friends (or maybe with people at the bus stop while waiting for the number 73 bus home)šŸ¤”. Do we know if 'Muriel' has any?

For the record I don't have any and have no idea if my friends have any (but none of them have trouble sitting down, particularly in the All Bar One on a Saturday night when there's a bottle of Prosecco chilling on the table...)

I killed a fridge that had an icebox with a screwdriver and mallet.

Has to be said it was an old fridge, icebox was missing the door and so it was always full of ice. Cleared lumps out loads of times before without an issue.

I doubt the spray would have touched the iceberg that was wedged in there.

Many years ago I defrosted my old freezer by using saucepans of boiling water on each shelf plus the defrost spray from Lakeland. The top had a very large chunk of ice ie completely covering it to a depth of 2 to 3 inches. Looked inside in to check if it was dislodging and it fell on my head! Not hurt apart from my pride.

Mind you I will say that the orange shammy that they now sell on Create and Craft did a good job of absorbing the melted ice.

My late Mum used to use a carving knife many years ago, until she bought a frost free freezer.
A pallet knife and a butter knife were used by my late mother. Without her knowledge, I once utilized a wallpaper scraper. She and I were equally puzzled by the damage she discovered when she next defrosted it.:sneaky:

Yeah i've seen folks usea a knife to try and prise ice off but a hammer and screwdriver is a whole other kettle of fish. :ROFLMAO:

Personally i'm a bit like Muttley, ice cream tubs of hot water and close door, refill a couple of times with hot water, start in morning, usually defrosted, cleaned and dried and ready to use by supper time.

That recent hot weather (Its June so only what we should expect) was home grown it had sod all to do with wafting up from anywhere.

Weather does interest me seriously
they want you to bring a thermos to keep you warm unless it's warm then it keeps you cool and a solar powered powerbank to charge your phone, unless it's dark then you can't and if someone comes to the door when you're out, use a video cam doorbell. Use a dashcam to get cheap car insurance as you travel back home. Checking the time on your Duchamp watch
