We have had all the furs on IW mk3.....and the next fur is the faux chinchilla fur
Opatra have been on TJC for years, probably 6-7 from memory, long before Natalia started. The relationship with TJC really blossomed during Lockdown, as they couldn’t do trade shows and their Salons were closed. They were flogging everything from soap to pure gold leaf sheets! If you look on the Opatra website, there is a list of their Salons, but every time I pass the Westfield one, it’s empty!Nah, looks like it's just a small beauty enterprise (bit like those two sisters on IW) that's suddenly become fashionable on selly telly, think i heard Natalia mention she knows the the owner or something like that so maybe that's where they've found a route into TJC.

It’s no coincidence that IW3 is well out of its depth with presentations and products.
Hiring all the ex bid merchants was and is a recipe for disaster, these people have a long track record of defunct shopping channels in their CV history.
Yet they still get hired?
You reap what you sow!
The only shopping channel with high production values and products is QVC mainly because they have been going since the dawn of time.
And the recently started ITV from midnight channel yes it may be a good idea, but look who is fronting it creepy and his moll.
They never learn from their mistakes,I have nothing but praise for Mr Locke the only true professional amongst them,as for the rest no thankyou I would never buy anything from creepy and partner,a trail of rattan springs to mind and I just don’t believe anything they say.
Post of the week and maybe the yearSpeaking of learning from mistakes, this is my little summary of the Ideal Shopping Direct (roughly 2018) to present day.
Ideal Shopping Direct Ltd (The original Ideal World) – Gone, done and dusted, leaving huge debts. Poor management, poor ethos, poor shyster presenters and guests, also tried to be like Amazon starting up a marketplace web site etc.
Ideal World Ltd – New company, Hamish buying the name etc but not the company, running from existing building and existing staff/presenters – Gone, done and dusted, leaving debts but not as huge as Ideal Shopping Direct. Hamish bit off more than he could chew, existing problems were to great to solve without a major overhaul which didn't happen, carried on in a similar vein to Ideal Shopping Direct, tried to steady ship with the aid of House of Fraser/Sports Direct, but no luck.
Ideal World Ltd - presenters/buyers/guests etc were present during the collapse of Ideal Shopping Direct ltd.
Shop Extra (Ideal World 2) – Original Ideal Shopping Direct owners at Create & Craft with some former Ideal Shopping Direct & Ideal World presenters and staff – Gone, but channel still exists & renamed back to its original name Craft Extra. Poor attempt are new start, too much like old Ideal World but on a budget scale, then TJC pulled the rug from under them.
Shop Extra / Ideal World 2 - presenters/guest were present during the collapse of Ideal Shopping Direct & Ideal World, seeing a common theme here.
TJC’s Ideal World (Ideal World 3) – TJC beauty channel renamed to Ideal World with some former Ideal Shopping Direct /Ideal World presenters – 2 months old, similar ethics to Ideal Shopping Direct & Ideal World but more boring, may last thanks mainly to the beauty and fashion stuff and cheap tat which TJC specialise in.
TJC's Ideal World 3 - Some presenters/guests were present during the collapse of Ideal Shopping Direct & Ideal World, could this be an omen for the future?
Shop on TV (Ideal Shopping Direct 2) – Directors & Former CEO & COO of Ideal Shopping Direct ltd (the original debacle) with a few former Ideal Shopping Direct /Ideal World/Shop Extra presenters – 3 days old, no clue how long it will last, but seems to be following similar pattern to the original Ideal Shopping Direct/Ideal World, ie TV channel with a big marketplace web site. Also noted prices not as cheap as old Ideal World (may be a lesson learned), some of the watches featured the other night way cheaper on Reynolds kid’s watch retail site. Looks like to cut overheads, small staff, they won’t actually stock stuff, but everything will be delivered direct from the suppliers/3rd party brands, so main overheads are mainly studio costs, presenter costs & some admin costs. Too early to tell on the ethos of the outfit.
Shop On TV - Directors were the CEO & COO during the Ideal Shopping Direct Ltd debacle, Presenters (Hayley/Shaun) on the first night were present during the collapse of Ideal Shopping Direct, Ideal World & Shop Extra (Ideal World 2), talk about bad luck, maybe karma may play a part in it's future prospects.
he opened the show saying he was a limp as a wet piece of celery on a December day. I do think he is raiding Larry Grayson's act at times.I had a quick five minute look at Pedro yesterday and just caught him mentioning walking bow legged due to wet rhubarb and something about a cucumber! Not joking.
Instant effects are scheduled for tonight’s showBTW
The guy on now, Richard Mears is one is the guy that's teamed up with Simon Iles and Alex Knowles to start a new company, VQD ltd, "Agents involved in the sale of a variety of goods", considering Iles and Knowles are already connected with the new Shop on Tv channel, then i'm pressuming some of Richard Mears beauty products will also be appearing on Shop on Tv at some point.
Instant effects are scheduled for tonight’s show
I think sometimes, this is what Peter Simon is going for, (Larry Grayson) Peter Simon mentions Rhubarb and celery etc etc - but there's only one master that can get away with such camp innuendo and humour:
Piranha kitchen gadgets were scheduled to be on Sunday but then it changed to silk bedding and piranha rescheduled to tonight. Now it’s instant effects tonight and piranha moved to tomorrow night. what happens to the schedule tomorrow is anyones guess.Really is a small world is shopping TV, while the ordinary grunts/minions are out of jobs with every failed channel, the presenters and brands hop from one closed down channel to another new one, one endless cycle for them.
