I'm loving Peter's 'presidential addresses' at the top of his shows. 'Sincerity' factor 11. Did I mishear, or did he say the I-Phone he was selling had a 3D screen?

Also Ginger Bun Man; Peter said he was 'a TV favourite'? Personally speaking, I've never seen him outside his couple of appearances on IW?

If it's the watch I'm thinking of, Jurgis Kairy pilot watch with the black Milanese strap, the strap is Stainless Steel with black PVD coating. "PVD" is the type of coating used to make it black (or gold, rose gold etc). There are two main methods to coat metal on watches, "IP" - Ion plating and "PVD" - Physical vapor deposition.

It was not so long ago that The Godfather Of Time was calling it 'Powder Vapour Disposition'. Even last week I heard Simon say 'Vapour Disposition' old habits die hard.

And as for Gollum talking about his integrity, how can anyone who ever worked on that disgusting Quiz Call channel talk about having integrity?

As I type this, Simon is pulling the wrong price stunt once again. What a f$cknig fraud he is!
 
Back to the mistake in price tactic, selling at £99 through gritted teeth, 10pm so nobody available to change it, should be £199, inquest tomorrow. :mysmilie_19:

Absolute lying muppets, they do realise that they still have a short video of the last time they sold the watch on their web site, and the price then was £99, video is in link below.

Well I got a reply from ASA on my complaint re: Ballast watches on IW, and Peter Simon continually claiming they were a Swiss Brand since 1903.
They seem to be willing to trust IW on their assurances that it won't happen again re Ballast, or similar marketing, but i replied telling them that I was disappointed that they trust IW to make the changes as having witness many instances of misinformation and inaccurate information on products since I filed my complaint, that I have my doubts.

"We have assessed the content and the complaint and we considered that you had made a valid point. We considered that the incorrect facts regarding Ballast Watches was likely to mislead consumers, particularly in relation to the date the brand was established, and the locations of their manufacture. As this appeared to be a relatively clear breach, instead of initiating a formal investigation and with a view to acting quickly, we informed the advertiser of the complaint and they have assured us that steps have been taken to ensure all persons involved in the presentation of Ballast Watches are fully informed and will provide correct information. They have also agreed to ensure that similar issues do not arise in their future similar marketing communication. We have received a written assurance from them to that effect."

The said they will publish their findings on the site in due course. www.asa.org.uk

Anyway Ballast show tonight, although neither Peter Simon or Thomas Tope (the two from the 3 ballast shows I complained about) are presenting the show.

So much for Ideal worlds compliance dept, you know the ones that their presenters often mention, to convince viewers they are telling the truth and not lying onscreen. :mysmilie_17:

Peter is telling us he knows people who have bought the very latest iPhone and said 'nah ...I'm going back to the iPhone 7 !'

See the Ballast show is not on now, was on their schedule earlier today for 10pm, the Ballast watches were even reduced for the show, still on their web site at the reduced price. Supposed to be Shaun and some other guy, can't remember name, but now a mattress show with the two shauns. :mysmilie_19:

sorry to quote again, but just found this, wonder what's Peter & co are gonna say when they start flogging this on air? after bigging up the Iphone 7, he's kinda backed himself in corner with the newer Iphones. :mysmilie_17:

So with P&P they want £125.98 more than Apple charge, and with free next day delivery too.

Then again I suppose Ideal World’s price will include, erm, ‘interest free’ Flexipay :mysmilie_19:

It looks like Ideal World have cut the price of the iPhone 11 to £799.99 (£804.98 inc P&P).

So it’s now £25.98 more expensive from Ideal World than from Apple :mysmilie_59:

I know nowt about smartphones in general - amazingly I just use my own mobile for making/taking calls! With that in mind, and WRT the iphone 7, when were these versions introduced to the market?

when it's on air they prob will make it cheaper, but considering the comments Peter V has made re the Iphone 7, I can't see any logical reason why anyone would buy any other phone on IW apart from I phone 7.

I'm going to be watching the next andriod phone program very closely, see if Peter V mentions you can do your banking etc on it, I'll be straight on the phone to them to ask them. If Peter V only trusts & uses Apple products (which he stated during Iphone 7 show) for his banking because of their security, then why is he recommending others to be use a non Apple phone for banking when he obviously doesn't trust them for himself. :mysmilie_17:

The other day Screeching Banshee Gen pulled the exact same trick with the Coda Wave Laptop and that too was available at Ebuyer for next working day delivery and still is.

Apart from being a pack of lies as you can get it at ebuyer, how stupid are they, it's exclusive to them? If it's exclusive why in hell would they need to buy them up from another retailer? If it were truly exclusive then supply of the product would have been restricted by CODA to only Ideal world. What he should be saying is we tried to have a monopoly of the product (to claim exclusivity) by buying everyone else's stock, but we failed miserably.


I think they haven't shifted the CODA and IPhone 7 as quick as they expected, each passing show they sound more desperate and demented.
