I was watching an episode of Broad City the other night and immediately thought of IW's iPad 3. One of the girls gives her brother a refurbished iPad.

"oh" says the brother, "it's just that you'd think you'd give someone a new one rather than something that someone else has used"

And the rather odd fella who claims he works with drones every day has just said about this £30 drone "imagine taking photos from above the clouds" jesus wept :mysmilie_17:

So JUKEBOX JANICE is shilling an ‘Ovation’ (?) Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, Peter Vacuum Vol au Vent is on hand to demonstrate it.

For comparison she ‘showed’ how complicated it is to plug in and vacuum with a wired hoover. I have to say she made a meal of it, I’d stick to shilling 5 year old tablets if I was her.

Jukebox said ‘a happy home is a clean home’. Last week Vol au Vent’s missus said it’s more important to have a warm home than a clean home.

Then again, she was shilling a Heater :mysmilie_59:

Listen right.....this steepletone.....oh the sound is amazing. Buy it, buy it now, just 49pence.....it looks and sounds incredible....first of 3000 flexi's. I'll just keep stopping short of finishing sentences right, and mentio one flexi payment in one sentence, and then finish off the amount of them in another. That should confuse you enough.

It looks fabulous, look at that.....buy two! And so on and so on......

I did feel slightly bad for the older Steepletone guy last night when he was showing that wooden record player thing. He was trying to show the cd player functioning and said "just press here to eject the cd"

He pressed the button and bugger all happened. Cue a very quick cut away to another camera angle, while the poor guy stared down at the cd hoping the tray would pop out.

Some of the Stepletone stuff is interesting in concept, but sadly they don't have the designers, or decent enough materials to do them justice. That wooden record player box thing could have looked suitably dated, but then they plonk a hideous plasticky front panel on it.

I think old Dirty Peter was hired to completely take over the hours with his waffle, not giving the expert (cough) any leeway for much in the way of description of item. He sometimes asks a question and then talks over the 'expert' almost immediately they start talking. If you want to know anything about the watch, other than it's Swissness and how it cost a bucket load more last time it sold out, then you can forget it! He's just awful :mysmilie_51:

Good news everyone! Looks like they’ve found another truck load of antique iPad’s with cobwebs so do tune in at 9.00pm. Don’t forget, these are the iPad’s that other iPad owners wish they had.
