I am 'watching' the teeth queens and the possessed ventriloquist's dummy on mute. (That 'grin' he does ;) ) They may be nice women, but she should not wear that green, doesn't suit her. PS, you shouldn't be doing that on air: especially in close up, like earlier. Vain blighter. ;)
You’re not wrong, it’s a particular nasty shade of green. And Pete has been saying that this will be a sellout for the last hour. He’s deluded. I feel quite sorry for the LAB girls, he’s quite embarrassed. Bet they wish they were still on QVC.

Is it my imagination or is there something wrong with Patio Pete’s face? His left cheek seems to be moving all very the show but his right one is static. Has he had fillers and one side has come detached? Very odd
I've just checked on YouTube feed and enlarged the picture. His cheek looks puffy, it looks like he's got cotton wool in his mouth. Something doesn't look right.

Change of subject: momentarily. I am thinking of buying a pillow: ooo, the excitement! Anyhoo, I have got it into my head to buy a GX pillow. Hoping it would show on TJC 'when' it shows on IW. I have an account there but not IW. Does anyone know it it would be worth my money? I don't really want to open an IW account for one item that may be a poor purchase. Thanks in advance. It was on last night at 9, but that's my 'in between' period. Doing other things between 9 and 10.
:)

You can order as a guest that’s what I tend to do

I’m glad I wasn’t born until 1975, Seem it saved me from having to watch some terrifying children’s tv
Ah but did you have to watch the public information films at school? They used to wheel in a TV on legs and make us watch films about the dangers of building sites or electricity pylons and kites, or electric substations. The worst one was about a boy called Robbie who had his feet chopped off by a train when he went on the railway line and got his football boots caught in the points. I had nightmares about it for weeks afterwards!

I remember seeing one where a boy had fallen down a hole of some sort whilst playing on a building site. That and rabies things were two of the things I remember from my early-ish school days, aka the mid-late 70s early 80s.

Oh yes, and there were ones about swimming in rivers, going onto ice. I'm surprised we weren't permanently traumatised.
Mind you, people of our vintage weren't snowflakes like they are today!

We 'probably' weren't traumatised coz 'we' were the ones who for the most part would put ourselves, in varying degrees, in those situations. I did some silly things, but nothing 'dangerous' to myself or others, but there were things I did back then I wouldn't do now, or let a child of mine do now (if I had one). Go walking to a quarry the long way round on a hot day that took me through villages that were out of the way, cycling when it was getting dark and having to share my mate's front bike lamp and he the back and ride in tandem. Cycle like maniacs without hands on a quite road and venturing central to see a car coming towards me :p Did I say I did nothing dangerous? Well, I'm still here, so it couldn't have been that bad :p

It's amazing we all survived with no bike helmets or knee and elbow pads when we did skateboarding and rollerbooting (no rollerblades then!).We played in the fields and woods making camps. We used to walk half an hour to the lido in a bunch with no adults and were trusted not to drown!

Definitely. And the lack of mobile phones too. IF you needed to call 'home', you'd have to find a red box. I know you can't miss something you didn't have, but now you have it, a mobile is a must and you 'know' when you don't have one.
