Not really sure, he only owns 2 watches and he bought those years ago from Price Drop TV 😱 (That’s so embarrassing). Duke of Cheese recommended Citizen Eco drive and I like the look of this one. Think he soul like more on the sporty side, chronograph.
Citizen have done some really nice watches recently ..I just picked up one of the Series 8.

Wonder if the knowledgable forum members who know a thing or two about quality watches (not the tat that IW sell) could tell me some good options for a present for my hubby. Me and my kids are going to club together and want to get him a decent watch for his birthday. It’s a few months away but want to start looking now. My budget is around £500. Have been looking at Tissot but any recommendations would be very much appreciated 😊
Steinhart, san Martin, Sugess, squale, lot of "s's" but many more decent pieces than offered on IW 😎

I would never lie to you, comparing cheap urban jacks faux leather trainer with Adidas leather trainers. :ROFLMAO:
All jokes aside, there is something very wrong if the presenters need to trot out the 'I would never lie to you' guff.

They'd all walk it on the tv show 'Would I Lie To You?'

I don't find any of that stuff funny any more tbh, it disgusts me.

Royal Mail 24hour tracked, where I live ud see that in January
Royal Mail left a relatively expensive CD and vinyl box set outside my house the other day. My house is street/pavement positioned with no front garden to push it further back. Just left this large box to the side by the meter boxes. Read their delivery card to say where it left when I got in from work hours later. Luckily it was still there. No thanks to them, though. The real Royal Mail (the state owned one) would NEVER have done such a thing. They didn’t even leave stuff with neighbours if you were out. A card was left saying the item was on-hand at the local sorting office to collect. A pain…yes…But at least your item was safe and secure. They just can’t be ars ed any longer. Leave anything sent other than Special Delivery with some neighbour houses away, or chuck it outside your house somewhere if they can’t find one. Works nicely with the pretend Ideal World we have now.

Haven’t seen much of IW recently with Xmas events, including a trip to Chester Christmas Market by Steam Train. I would definitely recommend it, the Pullman coaches were gorgeous, very Agatha Christie! Anyhoo, Pete appears to be wearing a jumper last seen in Narnia. What has my interest is this 3,2,1 he keeps saying. I thought at first he was counting the Gallery in, but then I thought, No, surely that’s their job! So is he channeling his inner Ted Rodgers? Yet another stolen catchphrase. The man’s a buffoon.

Okay…Right…Now my special guest is to vibration plates what Michael Mason is to music…A world star amongst all the genders of vibrating young women and young men of either sex. She is known in every Milan and Rome and Neasden vibration plates clinic. Star of BBC One and virulent journalist of the broadsheet red tops of style..Who the fu…is she, Charley? Dusty Flange? Oh…okay..Flanje..
