Two observations. From someone who worked (and soon will work again) in a kitchen. The cook, scratching his beard whilst preparing food, without wiping his hand. And MM shoving his foot up on the desk, where food is being prepared. A foot that has been on a 'manky' floor. NOT in the least hygienic. I know it's only a demonstration, but food prep needs to be proper: especially if you are doing it to look professional. What one does in their own home, on their own is immaterial.

It's all about conveying a professional image to the viewer. You watch that and have to decide whether they are an organisation you want to hand money to.

I recall about 12/ 18 months ago Joe was doing a demo and the presenter asked him a question about cooking and he said that he didn’t know as he wasn’t a trained chef. His demos then were pretty basic.

Maybe he's been learning since then: still needs a few more lessons, it seems. I can cook, but that wasn't my job in the kitchen, but even the 'lowly' know about food hygiene if they work in that environment.
