Sounds great. I'll be in London on 14th December to go to the Carol concert at the Royal Albert Hall, only staying overnight though, going back oops north the next day.
Hope I haven't worried you, we won't get to our hotel until 5pm, the concert starts at 7.30, so no time to turn around. The train back to Darlington is at 11.30, so it will have to be a virtual cuppa, but it would have been lovely.

I would have arranged to meet up to say hello but I'm going to Bruge for the weekend with family. A very respectable trip and definitely not 3 50-something ladies getting tipsy on mulled wine in the Christmas Market🍷🤪.

I love the Royal Albert Hall and the carol concerts are marvellous. I'm not seeing a traditional one there this year but I'm seeing the jazz Christmas concert the following week, Guy Barker, they have guest artists, you never know who is going to turn up. A couple of years ago Rob Brydon was a guest. He did a few minutes of comedy then sang. He's got a reasonable voice but he is Welsh and they are known for being great singers.

I am seeing a traditional concert in a church in Covent Garden, its nicknamed The Actors church. The concert is called Christmas by Candlelight, seeing that the Sunday before Christmas.

We are staying at the Gore Hotel, which I understand is close to the Hall. We usually stay near Kings Cross, but I'm not so mobile these days.

I hear Peter V is having a season of working on cruises next year telling stories about his acting career

Not cruises exactly ...

A few passengers lost at sea on that one, then.

A pity really. From what I’ve seen of his acting, it’s pretty good, and he’s appeared in some well known TV series (Eastenders, New Tricks, Crimewatch…Rainbow etc..) Why he ever got sucked into to playing the role of a technology expert and now a vacuum rice Hoover upper on a shopping channel, God only knows? Still, aren’t 90% of professional actors usually always out of work? And it’s easy money, talking unqualified shyte about picking up shyte for a few hundred quid for a few hours work. I doubt you’ll ever find some cheap and nasty generic Chinese stick vacuum in his house. Will not forget him and the Fantasist sitting smirking at one another on that rattan furniture. Flogging it to people hours before the previous version of the channel collapsed. By the Power of The National Grid, please FILTER him off-screen….
