Just an update to clarify or should i say correct, the Mason's erroneous claim.

I DO NOT have any friends with a Duchump watch, nor do i know anybody who owns one either.

It's because instead of having "Tachymeter" or "units per hour" starting at the 12 o clock position which means the counter starts 500 or 400 depending on the size of the text, Duchump have it at the 3 o clock position, which means they need to have the 550 to fill in the space between 12 o clock and the 2 o clock positions.

Is the Duchamp actually swiss made?

That one is, their other Grand Mont isn't.

Although it is assembled in Mendrisio, most of the parts will come from China (Case, bracelet, dial, hands and packaging), the only actually Swiss Made part is the Ronda quartz movement, that plus being assembled in Switzerland (higher labour costs) qualifies it to be labelled Swiss Made as it meets the 60% Swiss criteria.

That's one thing Kevski was good for, at least he gave more physical details about the watches than their usual watch shows. IW descriptions, seem to concentrate on colour, weight and worth ten times what they are charging. On odd occasions you watch diam and on very odd occasions depth, but you never get lug to lug size, band width etc.
