Are planes going to be affected by the cold?
Quite interesting actually, I hadn't heard of a lot of those places before.

You could say something like "what do you mean by that, why don't you ask me directly?" Let them explain why they did that, throw it back to them. It's a technique I've just learned from a training session I did at work. Rather than reacting yourself, you very politely ask what they meant by that. Let them try to explain (in this instance) why they believed you couldn't speak for yourself. I'm looking for an excuse to use it myself.

Surprised they haven't mentioned windchill in the scary weather forecasts, especially in 'Bonnie wee Scotland', where the windchill can make feel like another 5c lower.

I don't think they monitor any of the output of the broadcast.
Probably all sat around on their phones waiting for the shift to be over and done.

Is that all broadcasts or certain presenter broadcasts?

Looks like Pedro might be in for a rough journey over the Pennines tonight. Hope he's filled his boot with survival shovels, torches, Sherpa blankets, thermos flasks and a hefty supply of collagen, just in case he gets stranded. I forgot the power banks, so that he can keep in contact with Bet.
