Any Insider information on what's happening with Shop on TV? And are you able to tell us if Seen on TV is going to be broadcasting live? Maybe, I am missing something, but two channels starting up selling the same items seems a bit stupid to me, but what do I know.

Seen on TV is aiming to go live for 12 hours a day from next week.
Shop on TV will be recorded (apart from when it simulcasts the live ITV / STV show) and is due to launch on Wednesday. The Freeview channel is initially on air from midnight to 6pm daily.
Thanks for that. I thought it was the other way around, Shop on TV broadcasting live daily. Everyday is a school day. Do you know what freeview channel Seen on TV will broadcast on?

I believe either 87 or 88 which is only available in the Greater Manchester area unlike Shop on TV which will be available nationwide.
Oh well never mind, doubt I will be missing much, would have been a nice change for watching Ideal tat.

That's because some of the people who were involved in creating Shop Extra have been entrusted by Simon to consult on the setup of Seen on TV (which makes sense since Shop Extra was such a huge success).
