There was one night when Joanne was selling a chopper, and she found some Manky looking veg in one of those cupboards, probably stuff Mark left behindAnd when he's on TV he's trying to say, look you don't need to be a trained chef to cook a decent meal. If you get Gordon Ramsay to demo something, he can't help becoming too cheffie and that makes people think they can't do it. But if he was asked he could make really good meals at restaurant quality. I think what Mark Young Barlow was doing was saying F*ck it, I'll just half cook this lot and put it in tupperware in the cupboards. How did he cook it and what did he use? That's what viewers want to see. The cooking done right before our eyes. Mark talks a good game but the abilities don't come off on camera
I'm an ex Met CivilianYeah, PC Cheese is feeling Blue…Not as bad as Constable Constable and PC Sergeant that we had at the time.
Sorry to hear that, hope you feel more uplifted soon.Do you ever post something, and later think why.

Mark appeared to be uninterested in being there. In my opinion, he prefers to cook on a stovetop or oven instead of using an air fryer. Although he claimed to use air fryers in his home, I couldn't find any evidence of it in the food he served. When Chef Mark (aka young Ken Barlow) was on I always wondered why it was 30 mins here then 45 mins there, never a proper 2 hour show, how could it be worth his time and effort for 45 min stints?
Joe and big Brodders loved getting in about the food and as commented Mike has started eating the food again since Joe has returned, says it all sadly about Marks offernings! I mean a whole jar of ragu sauce over a bit of half cooked chicken was his best offering.......
I don't have a smart meter, but I just find it easier and quicker to use an air fryer. I don't have loads of kitchen gadgets but my air fryer and George Foreman grill get used a lot. Or 'George Formby' grill as my dad used to call themSince getting a smart meter I did compare air fryer to oven and difference is massive !
Yes I do that oftenDo you ever post something, and later think why.

On my smart meter monitor, I am using between 1 and 3 pence per hour. This figure shoots up to 88p while the kettle boils, then drops down to between 1 and 3p again. When I turn on my cooker, hobs, or hobs and oven, the indicator on the monitor shoots up again. Once it reaches the right temperature, it drops back to between 1and 3p once more. Cooking Jacket Potatoes was the only real difference I noticed and it was 14p more using the oven.I don't have a smart meter, but I just find it easier and quicker to use an air fryer. Thanks, that's really informative. I know kettles use a lot of energy, which is why we're advised not to use more water than we need.On my smart meter monitor, I am using between 1 and 3 pence per hour. I think what it means is, when I boil the kettle and it shoots up to 88p. It would cost me 88p if the kettle was on constant boil for 1 hour, but it only boils for around 3 minutes, and then drops back to the day in day out hourly running cost of between 1p - 3p per hour.for me.Thanks, that's really informative. I always use a trolly I can’t carry a basket. The easiest place I find for walking is in a supermarket, as I can grip the handle bar and it keeps me up. If me mum and dad go to a store, I’m normally left with the trolley
One of the main selling features of an air fryer is it takes less time to cook. So his reasoning of half cooking things to save time made no sense. I got a Morphy Richards slow cooker for half price in Menary's a local department store and when I got back from a few days stay in hospital a couple of weeks ago my dad had left an air fryer there for me so proper bargains. The slow cooker is so good but I love roast veg and the air fryer does a lovely job of themI don't have a smart meter, but I just find it easier and quicker to use an air fryer.
