Just having a trawl through some of their FB posts - the admin lady was called out for using a demeaning tone, and when people pointed this out, she threatened to ban them. When I looked again, many of the posts have now been removed .

And me. We're (hopefully) going to Pompeii this year, after having planned to go for years and always having something stymie it.

We've been a couple of times. The first time on a tour and the second time on our own.
If you're staying in Sorrento it's dead easy to get to on the train.
We're in Sorrento in June on a cruise and contemplating going on the ships tour as it's easy to get lost wandering round as the site is huge.
We've also been to Herculaneum as well and that was a great trip as well.

Thanks for all that info on Pompeii folks. It's on my bucket list but we just haven't been able to get there for one reason or another. Think I'll make it a must for next year as we're going to Crete in April.

Knossos is a fascinating site.

Herculaneum is actually better than Pompeii imo. About a quarter of the tourists, same train line to get there, and the ruins are not just ground floor but first floor too and more complete frescos and objects. They do audio tours so you can wander around at your own pace, not on a crowded tour.

Oh yes we enjoyed it when we went a few years ago. Be careful leaving someone tried to take our camera on the pretext of wanting to take our photo.

Little bit disappointed with the Wynnedenim jeans
Don’t know if they got scrunched up on delivery or if I’ve been played foul with a returned item
The item clearly has pockets which are there on the inside, but are still sewn up. But weirdly , the back pocket hangs like a front pocket would.

Well folks, I've just snatched this from FB - "Giving some thought on the returning them!" If I received something like this I wouldn't have to think about it, they'd be returned and at no cost to myself! That is absolutely disgraceful. So far there's only a couple of comments one says "if you're not happy I'd return them" and the other says they look like they've come out a laundry basket - a flippin' dustbin or rubbish skip I'd say. I'm waiting for one of the clowns to suggest that the creases will come out with a good iron and to stop moaning! From what I can see this woman would've paid the best part of £70 for that abominable pair of rags!

I thought most of her stuff looked like that.

I actually liked that jacket in the black but I wouldn't have had anywhere to wear it and it was too much money AND the size would probably be all wrong (and it might look like a pair of 1950's curtains )

She’s a nightmare. I can’t believe there are 20,000 in that group! It’s like the QVC presenters fan club. Debbie Flint is posting her weekly blogs there now fgs….

I joined because I was getting withdrawal symptoms after the demise of Qurio, I heard it was full of QVC superfans so I hoped that I'd get my fill of laughs there instead, sorry if this sounds mean. I suspected hoped that a lot of the ex Qurios would flock to it and carry on the show. I spotted a few posts from Hyacinth early on but other than that nothing. It is entertaining in its own way with it's crazy admin woman, and how the minute somebody posts the slightest gripe about Q other members will jump to their defence, or post something sarcastic. Ok not quite this bad but kinda "I received a pair of boots and the soles had on them " response "If you're not happy send them back " . Admin lady doesn't seem to have a problem with her members ripping 8 barrels of out of one another, but dare to say anything negative about how she runs the group, or worse still one of the presenters there's hell to pay! As I said before I admire her tenacity. I would imagine that a lot of members are like me and watch with weird fascination and occasional shock. It's no Qurio, but I guess it's better than nothing (just) lol!

But she creeps so badly that anyone who dares to criticise Qvc or any of the presenters gets told off. It’s all a bit playground to me and she’s the bossy girl who wants to play but only if you do exactly what she wants…

Oh yes! She has announced she will be gifted products so she can give us all an honest review…now call me a sceptic, but if someone gifts you a freebie you are hardly likely to say it’s rubbish are you…because you want more freebies! And do we really need her to review anything?
This is the woman that was gifted some of Abi Cleeve’s supplements, and gave them to her 90 year old granny who had recently been in critical care after heart surgery. She went silent when a few of us with medical backgrounds commented that her actions were highly dangerous…. And funny enough there was no comment from Abi Cleeve…that says a lot.

Absolutely - any supplement is a medication and should be respected as such. I have a form of chronic anaemia, and cannot take fortified iron in supplements as it depletes my blood iron level
