What’s with all the capitalised words in some people’s posts? Is it a setting they can’t turn off?

And me. We're (hopefully) going to Pompeii this year, after having planned to go for years and always having something stymie it.
We went about 10 years ago. I had wanted to go for ages. It is really interesting, and you could get a tour with a guide if you wished when you arrived. We just went round ourselves, but in reflection it would have been good to have gone on the tour too. It is exhausting though as it is so big, and there is no way you will see it all.

Wear good comfortable flat shoes and a hat. We saw a woman there with the highest stilettos you could imagine walking around. How she didn't break her ankle I have no idea. There is also a cafe inside which is very handy as you can buy water and there are toilets, albeit not that nice (well, when we went it wasn't, might now have changed).

We took the train from Sorrento, it was around £2 each both ways, and you get given a map so you can see when the station is coming up for Pompeii. We chose a cloudy cooler day as I don't think we would have lasted the time we did if it was too hot. Apparently some of the houses are not always open, so if you are interested in any in particular, ask when you buy your tickets what places are open that day. Your feet will thank you later.

I'd love to go back, and would also visit Herculaneum as well, but we ran out of time/days, and always said we would return. Capri is lovely too as is the Amalfi Coast.

I am not jealous, honestly 😁

thank you - that's all very helpful to know :). We did the Amalfi coast a few years ago - quite a few actually, thinking about it - and we thought it was divine. I could see me living there, without all the tourists of course!

Herculaneum is actually better than Pompeii imo. About a quarter of the tourists, same train line to get there, and the ruins are not just ground floor but first floor too and more complete frescos and objects. They do audio tours so you can wander around at your own pace, not on a crowded tour.

I agree, I think it would be lovely to live there, everywhere we went was so clean too. We can dream :)

Little bit disappointed with the Wynnedenim jeans
Don’t know if they got scrunched up on delivery or if I’ve been played foul with a returned item
The item clearly has pockets which are there on the inside, but are still sewn up. But weirdly , the back pocket hangs like a front pocket would.
Giving some thought on returning them

Well folks, I've just snatched this from FB - "Giving some thought on the returning them!" If I received something like this I wouldn't have to think about it, they'd be returned and at no cost to myself! That is absolutely disgraceful. So far there's only a couple of comments one says "if you're not happy I'd return them" and the other says they look like they've come out a laundry basket - a flippin' dustbin or rubbish skip I'd say. I'm waiting for one of the clowns to suggest that the creases will come out with a good iron and to stop moaning! From what I can see this woman would've paid the best part of £70 for that abominable pair of rags!

I think my wording would be a heck of a lot more graphic than “a little bit disappointed”.
I’d be straight on the phone to QVC to complain and get a free returns label and a refund.

I buy the majority of clothes online from a wide range of companies (nothing from QVC though). All are very well packed and 99% of the time un creased and always new. IMHO QVC’s quality control is poor to non existent.

To be fair to her as a member of that group she's most probably holding back on what she really thinks for fear of being banned for slagging off the hallowed Q. There's a few more comments now but the most edgy of comments is "unacceptable"- It's all very "nicey nicey". Seriously though I'm good with being nice, but there are times when you just wanna "get it off your chest" so to speak, so yes if I've received an item of clothing expensive or otherwise I don't want to pick twee terms like...ooops bit of a hiccup in quality control, I wanna let rip to anyone who'll listen!

Used to like Marla Wynne but don't buy anymore as it is too expensive.
