QVC Guidelines on Cosmetic Skincare Products

I was searching for something completely different on QVC and came across this little gem. It's a little long, but makes very interesting reading.

How many of the guidelines do you think are currently being breached by the various expert beauty guests and presenters, including "our very own beauty expert"?:thinking:

AY always used to say and still does the odd time. "We are not allowed to make claims for products that cannot be proved."

The Dr.Denese range got pulled pretty quickly when someone made a complaint about things the woman herself was saying on air, to the ASA. They get away with a lot more in the US.

Lulu telling us she made the products at home in her kitchen was a major porkie which was never repeated. Now its she used to mix oils to try herself.

Amazed me the other day when she said she was the person who discovered the benefits of putting borage oil on the skin!

Sounds like they are saying that nothing works except high SPF.
