Question regarding Yankee Candle...

Hi everyone

Not sure where to put this so with it being about YC thought would put it here:cheeky:

Have got a large jar of Mackintosh Spice (gift from a friend) but am not sure if I should trim the wick before lighting it as it's the first time I've ever used one of the jars. One thing I don't want to happen is tunnelling.

I always trim to 1/4" and burn until it touches the sides even on a new one. HTH

trimm a new wick also down to about 1 cm and let it burn untill it has liquified all the way too the sides before you blow it out.

Thanks guys, have just measured the wick and it looks to already be a centimetre in length so I'll give it a go.
