Simply that (I assume) they have revenue from their customer services phone number, so it benefits them to have people on hold while they 'try to sort things out' :rolleyes:

Why on earth would a new business, trying to build a customer base, intentionally annoy people so they have to phone customer services?!!!

Considering their CS phone number is an 0845 local rate number, they'd have to keep you holding for a heck of a long time to make it worth their while!! Is there any particluar reason that you're so cynical about Rocks & Co Harfarhs? Have you had a bad experience?
 
We are so sorry for any problems experienced recently, everybody at Rocks & Co is working really had to get everything working perfectly.
