Obviously, as is the case within companies generically, there is a pecking order at the Q when it comes to the allocation of shows to presenters. Headline shows and events, such as the Gem Fest, are given to more senior members of staff. I cannot imagine Miceal - probably the junior male presenter - and either Marverine or Chloe, being entrusted to carry such an important show. Whilst many of us on the forum may not rate Franksy very highly, the Q are evidently of a very different opinion. I struggle to comprehend why, when there are so many negative views of her presenting style. Perhaps the Q just don't agree or, heaven forbid, don't care what the viewer thinks.

I find it quite a coincidence that the two that were 'let go' were also quite unpopular on here!! I think, in all honesty, it's down to sales whether they stay or go.

How ever much people may dislike Jill franks , she gets a hell of a lot of attention on FB and here , so people do watch her shows , where as the likes of Jilly, Claire and Simon rarely get spoken about, so mayb that reflects the sales for there shows. Love her or hate her Jill Franks is doing something right.

Is it a case of one man's meat being another man's poison? For every 1 who doesn't like a presenter there are 6 who think they are great. Hard sell to one is banter to another. Swarmy to one is friendly to another.
One thing we can be sure of is that the sales targets are the only thing that will matter to Q so we can assume that if they remain on our screens they are doing their job and we are the ones singing from the wrong hymn sheet and there are plenty of new suckers coming along to replace us.

Jill Franks isn't my fave presenter but I think she's okay and I don't mind watching her at all, she can be quite funny at times. But I also liked Debbie Greenwood and Julian as well. I also like Chloe and Debbie Flint even though a lot don't.
Can't stand Glen Campbell. He looks like the character Jules Tavernier from Eastenders:

Agreed. JF can't breath without it making front page news. It's usually negative opinions on her but I am sure plenty of people tune into her shows just so they can gossip about her afterwards. lol She is controversial, people love to talk about her, even if it's to complain about her. I am sure that works in her favor.
Glen Campbell has an annoying voice. I find those centigrade shows hard to watch because of him.
Yes, I don't like his voice either. It's quite distinctive. He is useless and pads things out all the time.

Franksy is definitely not my favourite presenter. As a person, however, I feel that I would have a lot in common with her. Anyone who loves their dogs as much as she does, as do I, is my type of gal. British Bulldogs are a bit like boxers : when it comes to medical problems, they seem to get everything! But we chose them.

Glen Campbell and Micael suffer from the same thing: verbal diarrhoea. Of the two, I prefer GC. Micael makes me switch channels.

If JF's sales figures are high, there is only ONE reason................... she has the prime time shows, and had been on every night for weeks on the lead up to Christmas, many were remarking that she hadn't got a home to go to, and was she sleeping at QVC. No matter what time I switched on during the evening, there she was ! I soon switched off, regardless of the product.
If Jill franks was selling the much publicised two trillion pound product that I had been saving up ten squillion years to buy I would just turn off and not buy it. So insincere, really can't stand her. Charlie just about the same.
