That's quite a smart looking gadget, but it's interesting 'cause I cannot sleep at night with any kind of light source going on. I can fall asleep in front of the telly accidentally, that happens a lot, I've been known to have a nap in the daytime but when it's proper time for sleep, pitch dark it needs to be. I find even the standby light on the bedroom tv bothers me, I also have a rechargeable fan and that has a blue "on" light that disturbs me and I have to throw something over the base to cover it. My radio alarm clock has a display you can turn right off (which I do). The last one we had the display was so bright you could almost read by it, so I had to drape stuff over it...so a night light is a definite no no for me. My clock radio has a usb port so I can charge my phone on that which is really handy. Is this just me. Oh thinks I'm paranoid and that just shutting my eyes should do the trick. He often comes to bed later than I do and will read his kindle, which has a built in light - I'm sure it would be ok if he didn't wake me up when he comes to bed, but it obviously can't be helped...but once I've been woken and the kindle light comes on I can't get back to sleep. I've tried a sleep mask, but I find they leak light in because your nose creates a gap and lets light in, but he insists just close your eyes...yeah I know what he's saying but I really can't drift off properly until all source of light has gone......Am I alone?

I’m the opposite - can’t deal with pitch darkness. I never close the bedroom curtains despite there being a street lamp outside a neighbour’s house. I’m slightly claustrophobic which doesn’t help.

I’m the same, any little light (no matter how small) keeps me awake.. even on a plug socket .. yet, I too manage to fall asleep in front if the tele 😂😂😂

Not just you. I have an eye mask which cups the eyes, so much better at excluding light.
I have a fan in the summer. I can cope with the lights on it because they have been covered with post it note sticky bits!

I used to have a lot of trouble sleeping till I read somewhere that the body gets as much rest as it needs - in its own time. That stopped me worrying about not sleeping for whatever reason, and I rest much better as a result. Light, dark, silence, noise don't worry me but being cold keeps me from sleep at times.

What’s putting me off ordering this is my phone case is very sturdy and I don’t fancy keep taking it off to charge as it’s very fiddly with long nails.
Perhaps it will work without removing the case, assuming it is not metal.

Why not post a question about it, you may get an answer in a few weeks!
