Yesterday Dave Troth and Adina were flogging some Angolan pink diamonds but the more I looked at them on screen the less pink they looked. Actually they looked white. How can they say they have pink diamonds when they look white?

Gemporia seem to say a lot that isn't true these days

I saw real very expensive pink diamonds in a local high-end jeweller, no price tag so if you need to ask you can't afford.
The ring was not a tiny little stones but one stone, and I was surprised as the colour was a pink/peach colour. Gemporia always have the tiny stones, and they are a pale, and I mean very pale pink.

A lot of poorer quality pink diamonds are Faint Pink at best... which is to say so pale they bearly fit into the Pink bracket, so a 9 on the scale. The more pink the the number I think 1 being the most pink. So the scale is 1-9. 1 being very intense through to blush/faint. They are almost always the poorer colour grades on tv shopping channels.

They put them into Rose Gold too - so I think the tiny bit that can be seen comes from the metal underneath rather than the Diamonds themselves.

My Argyle pink and white gypsy set and Gemporia Angolan pink for comparison. Angolan pink is actually classed as very light pink which is the same as the Argyle. Can’t really see the pink in my Argyle due to size and white gold setting, unless you take a pic. Argyle has a brown / tea stained background, whereas Angolan is blue based pink T2. Good value. Get it when you can get 20% off. I will buy more Angolan.
